After meeting with your tour guide, leave from Porto in a comfortable climatized vehicle and prepare for wonderfull day at the beautifull Douro Valley!
Stop At: Lamego, Lamego, Viseu District, Northern Portugal
Having arrived to the Douro Valley and with a quick pass by the centuries old city of Lamego, we will be visiting a small family owned vineyard.
Here we will have a commented wine tasting on a variety of their wines and also enjoy some wonderfull views of the terraced hills that make the Douro Valley such an unique place.

After the visit to the first winery, enjoy a scenic drive through the world famous National Road 222, to the heart of the Douro Valley!
Stop At: Folgosa, Folgosa, Porto District, Northern Portugal
It´s time to visit one of the most prestigious wineries of the region, where we will tour ther enturies old estate and try a selection of their world famous Ports.
Enjoy their wines, the views and the great ambiance that the place provides!

It´s time to go for lunch now, and as we head up the hills, passing to the quaint town of Pinhão, we will have the opportunity to have some fantastic views from up the mountains, to observe the expanse of the Douro Valley Region, a true "Geological Poem"
Stop At: Sabrosa, Sabrosa, Vila Real District, Northern Portugal
Having arrived in Sabrosa we will stop at another family owned winery, where we will have a traditional portuguese lunch complete with 4 courses, entrance, salad, main dish and dessert, all paired with their delicious Douro red and white wine.
For the grande finale we will visit their cellar where we will try some of their fantastic ports.
After a full day of exploration and discovery, relax and enjoy your journey back to Porto!

Please meet us at the main entrance of Bolsa Palace, on the sidewalk by the street. We will send a message trough the App with final details (pick up hour and photos of the meeting point).

Pick ups will be between 8:30 - 9:00 am. We will contact customers by message, with final details the day before the tour;
This tour has two different options, with or without hotel pick up. If you choose the option with the meeting point this tour may or may not be done in a minibus or bus. If you choose the Small Group with hotel pick up option, this tour will be done on a minivan and a group of up to 8 people;
This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
For lunch we provide meat, fish and vegan option. (We can also accomodate any dietary restriction with prior notification)
Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
For the ones that choose hotel pick-up, if your accomodation is not in a very easy to reach location, we might ask you to meet us at a close by location;
This tour last around 9 hours, but it´s subject to local traffic conditions or visit schedules;
Don´t forget to bring your camera with you!
There is not much walking involved, but please bring comfortable shoes;
We do tours all year round, in the winter it is cold and in the summer it's hot, please dress appropriately
Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);
The order of the tour or partners visit are subject to change depending on availability;
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 46 travelers

A well constructed tour offering excellent value for money made extra special by 3 things :-
1. Our EFun guide Juliana who was superb
2 the first 2 wineries we went to with Sophia and Jessica’s knowledge and delivery .
3. The small group size ( 7) in an excellent vehicle .
I would do the same tour again , it was brilliant !

The Douro Valley is a must see experience while in Porto! The scenery is stunning and you’ll be treated to some old work wine making experiences. The hosts at all of the wineries we visited were very welcoming and shared a lot of their time and knowledge specific to their winery. Our guide, Sara, was fabulous! She was very knowledgeable and really made our trip special. We highly recommend this tour - great value!

An excellent trip throughout the whole day, mainly thanks to Juliana, our host for the day. She was knowledgeable, informative and made our day very special.
The vineyards we visited, played a significant part in making the experience so enjoyable. The staff from those vineyards provided us all with a real feel for Portuguese wine and port.
Cannot recommend the tour highly enough!!

Our guide Hernan was excellent, well versed in the history of the area, excellent English and great sense of humour which made for most enjoyable experience! I highly recommend this tour.

The valley and scenery is very beautiful. The wines were very nice and enjoyed learning about the differences. Wineries staff were knowledgeable and informative. Too bad lunch was later in the afternoon- but it was good and the staff service was fun. Our guide Rita was also fun and informative. I would have liked more walking but understood it wasn’t possible.

A very enjoyable day. All the places we visited were fabulous. Coach with air con. Happy and informative hostess. Best of all, lots of wine. Lunch was lovely too. I would recommend.

Lovely day tasting wine and port in the beautiful Douro Valley. We were on a tour of 8 people (3 couples, 2 friends). The staff at each location were welcoming and knowledgeable. We had perfect weather.

We had a lovely time at 3 different vineyards, each with a very different family/corporate/local vibe. This also translates to varying distinct tastes. Sunny and beautiful views, definitely insta-worthy. Our guide Rita made the experience joyful, sharing fun stories and historical details of the area while driving us. While dining at a nice garden, some red wine got splashed on my white shirt. Rita was really worried and even got me a Ronaldo football shirt. Very sweet!

Great day out in the Douro. Our guide Juan was excellent- helpful, friendly and informative. Really enjoyed all 3 wine visits as the properties were all quite different- tasted a range of lovely wines and ports. Great lunch and good company!
