Itinerary
This is an outdoor activity and inspired by the beauty of Florence we'll try to get it down on paper. During the class we'll get in touch with both drawing and watercolor.
In the end of the class you'll get away with a drawing and a watercolor painting.
The activity is wheelchair friendly/accessible but it's very important to inform me in advance, in order to prepare the session to full fill all needs.
I will be next to you during the whole session with useful tips on composition, perspective, light and shade, color mixing, trying out different techniques and materials and working step by step to create your own "masterpieces".
Florence is often sunny but don't worry if you have booked a rainy day because in case of rain or bad weather the class will take place on a covered terrace with a fantastic view to the Dome of Florence.
I will bring all what we need of materials during the class.

Betty was so kind and professional. She shared lots of her valuable knowledge, not only of drawing and watercolor but of the history of Florence which made the experience so precious. She and even recommended places to buy art supplied. It felt like I known her for a long time so the class felt so special. She also took pictures of me during the class to share with my family.

Betty is a wonderful teacher and made the painting experience lot of fun and interesting by telling the story behind Duomo. She was prepared with all the materials and explained the process step by step. She helped with drawing and painting. I learnt a lot and enjoyed thoroughly. I recommend this workshop

It was a great experience to sketch and then do a watercolor painting with Bette's expert, patient and fun guidance. The class woke up the artist in me!

Betty is amazing teacher. The lesson was perfectly organised and we had interwsting discussions about painting and difderent countries. She gave me very good advices for drawing and watercolor. Definitely I will use them.

Betty is an amazing instructor and host. My wife and I enjoyed sharing a morning with her to draw and paint. If you're looking to get away from the hustle of Florence this is a great way to wind down. All skill levels welcome.

This workshop was wonderful!!! It was a unique experience with an absolutely amazing and talented teacher. Betty was skilled, professional, kind, and patient, taking time to work individually with each student. Additionally, we went to a local library with an incredible elevated view of the Duomo - an experience I would never have had if it were not for Betty and her wonderful workshop. I highly recommend this experience to everyone - it was fun, unique, and very very special. I can’t wait to frame my painting! Thank you, Betty!

Betty was wonderful with my nine years old daughter. It was her first painting class and Betty made the time fly by, which is essential when you are with a child. Rafaela was delighted with her own production.

Fantastic activity to do as a family - made everyone really pay attention to the beautiful building we were drawing and encourages us all to do sketches on the rest of our travels. It was a lovely pause in the day and escape from the queues and crowds! Would thoroughly recommend
