Stop At: El Yunque National Forest, El Yunque National Forest, Puerto Rico
We visit the East side of El Yunque Rainforest to enjoy a 25-minute hike to the first waterfall. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, rope swing or free dive from multiple heights. Further up after a 15-minute hike, there is another watering hole with a natural rock slide and cliff jump into the river. Learn of the history of the rainforest, iguanas, guava trees, bamboos and 100 year-old trees. This is an adventure good for those looking to enjoy nature and an a very authentic Puerto Rican rainforest experience. We end the trip by having lunch at a local small family owned restaurant that serves authentic home-style food (not included in price). Good physical condition required as hike is in pure nature, muddy and fun. Our team of local guides focus on showing the best of the island for an unique local experience.

Safety is our priority, in order for you to enjoy the experience to its fullest we may have to slightly forward or delay your start time after reservations are made, to avoid heavy flow of people and betterment of the experience. The notification will be sent by email the evening prior the tour.
** If you're traveling with a group but reserved your space separately, you have to notify us that you're together. The chances of being assigned to different tour guides are high, and changes can't be made on the day of the tour **
We recommend shoes that you won’t mind getting wet and muddy, that have a good grip and thick sole. Sneakers, water shoes or hiking sandals that cover your toes are the best option. Be mindful that sandals, flip flops, croccs or slides are not allowed as it can be dangerous once wet or muddy.
Not recommended for non-physical active participants
Participants with; Walking limitations, Overweight Issues, Permanent Injuries, Recent surgeries or not physically fit are NOT recommended as a good physical condition is required to complete this experience.

This activity was amazing! Our tour guide Gianni was fantastic and a site to see 😜Super fun and very informative. Our bus driver was great as well 🫶🇵🇷 LOVE this place!

Adventurous hike for sure! Our tour guide Fabian was great coupled with the stunt driver Jonathan zipping through the narrow roads like a champ. Definitely not a hike for the faint of heart as it was very challenging. But the experience is once in a lifetime. I haughty recommend this excursion.

I had so much fun on this tour!! Gian was a great tour guide. He was very patient and detailed with instructions. He made the tour fun by connecting with his group and encouraging us to have fun. As well, Jonathan was a great driver, getting us there and back. Thank you smm for a great experience guys!! 10/10

Gian & Jonathan were great. Gian was our tour guide and he was very informative and patient. Jonathan was our driver and he was very prompt and got us to and from safely.

This full day hike was a memorable experience for my family and I. What made this hike unique was not just the beauty of El Yunque rainforest but also the our guide Charlie. Charlie was personable, funny and extremely knowledgeable about the history of San Juan, local plants and more which just added to the hike. Our group was comprised of 14 ladies and gentlemen and each of them were a pleasure to be around. I can not express enough how incredible this hike was; however, Charlie our guide was the real MVP! Thanks Charlie

An even better experience than I could have imagined! It was 6 of us that went to celebrate my sister’s birthday and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They picked us up from the market and Charlie was by far the best tour guide from beginning to end! He accommodated us, the other people we had to ride on the van were strangers, but by the end, we felt like friends and family! I would come again and tell everyone to make sure they also, go to the rainforest and ask for Charlie as their guide!!!

Amazing experience ! Sebastian & his brother Fabian were so wonderful. They were great guides, very patient and lovely personalities. They help us when we were a little nervous. The driver Johnathan was so lovely too. Great driver, great energy. This was our best best experience out of everything we did in Puerto Rico. We highly recommend. Pictures do not any justice to how beautiful this place is.

Very fun trip through El Yunque with a very kind and competent tour operator. He speaks English and Spanish fluently. I highly recommend this tour to folks who want to swim in El Yunque.
