Stop At: Lower Yellowstone River Falls, Yellowstone River, Yellowstone National Park, WY

Lower Falls, the biggest waterfall in Yellowstone at 308-feet tall, is the most famous waterfall in the park.
The canyon’s colors were created by hot water acting on volcanic rock. It was not these colors, but the river’s yellow banks at its distant confluence with the Missouri River, that occasioned the Minnetaree Indian name which French trappers translated as roche jaune, yellow stone. The canyon has been rapidly downcut more than once, perhaps by great glacial outburst floods.

Besties Awesome day trip with guides Phil and Cameron. This was our first time visiting Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and thanks to the great knowledge and humorous jokes from Phil, our twelve hour tour was Amazing! Cameron was a very good driver and Phil didn’t miss a beat keeping us entertained and showing us sights that we would’ve never seen without his knowledge of the area. I could since their great love for the National Parks and the protected wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our day exploring all the beautiful places in the lower loop of Yellowstone! A big thanks to Phil and Cameron with BrushBuck Wild Life Tours

Such a memorable trip with our guide Phil and Cameron. We enjoyed the many laughs and knowledge from them. We traveled the lower loop of Yellowstone and the Teetons. You were able to show us so much beauty in nature and in wildlife. I don't think our trip would have been the same without them. Thanks!

This tour was fantastic! We had a wonderful tour guide, Marcus S, who was very knowledgeable about both parks and the wildlife in the parks. Our guide was determined to make our tour the best experience for us even though we faced several weather changes during the day; rain, snow and sunshine. We saw lots of wiildlife such as Elk, Bison, an Eagle, a Moose, a Black Bear and 3 Grizzly Bears! We even encountered a Bison walking nearby the Inn at Old Faithful! We also enjoyed seeing the hot springs, paint pots, waterfall and Old Faithful! This tour had so much to offer!

The full day tour of Yellowstone was wonderful and incredibly information. Our guides, Kyle and Chelsea, were so welcoming and knowledgeable. The full day tour is a bit long--we were really tired by the last hour-- but we saw everything we came to see and more.

Overall good experience but i think we were not taken to some of the largest hot water pools/springs/geysers in Yellowstone national park. The guide was well equipped with binoculars and spotting scope, also gave good rest stops and food pickup place. Also, the guide did not equally everyone on the way back. It was just a 2-3 hour dialogue with a few folks in return journey.

Looking at the $300 per person price tag we wondered if this this would be a bit out of our budget. We took into consideration that this is a private tour with snacks and drinks and lunch included- as well as a full day (12 hours). So glad we did! This was the best day and Patrick was the BEST guide. Everyday is different with wildlife but we saw numerous herds of elk and buffalo, coyote, 2 moose, eagles, and 3 grizzly bears ( 399 and her cub and big boy Huck) ! Patrick was wonderful to spot them and then stop to get pictures and kept us and the animals safe. We also saw Old Faithful, all the geothermal features, Artists Point, Yellowstone lake and all the good wildlife view areas. Patrick was so knowledgeable and accommodating we really could not recommend him enough (give that boy a raise and a promotion!) We had 5 adults, 2 elementary kids, and 1 teenager - everyone had the best time. Patrick even had trivia and awarded us jolly ranchers for right answers! The young kids even said they liked it better than Disney! Everyone had their own binoculars and Patrick had a spotting scope with an attachment to take pictures to send us! We would do this a million times over. Good Show guys!
