Visit Pilanesberg Game Reserve from Johannesburg for a full-day safari. The tour includes return transportation to the park and two 2.5-hour game drives with a highly qualified ranger in an open vehicle. On arrival your guide will take you on an exciting morning open 4x4 safari vehicle safari drive in search of the Animals that inhabit the National Park. Our guides are knowledgeable and will give you in depth information on the animal you are viewing and try their out-most to find the members of the Big 5.During the heat of the day you will enjoy lunch at one of the many rest camps in the National Park before departing on an afternoon open vehicle safari drive. Our vehicles depart the National Park between 15:30 – 16:00 in order to arrive back in Johannesburg before sunset.

Just seeing the country, the landscape, the natural habitat of the animals. Even though we did not see lions or buffalo, it was a very fulfilling adventure!

Our Safari around Pilanesberg was a great experience. We saw many species - I think the only ones we didn’t see were big cats, but that’s the luck of the draw. Our guide, Teeann was very knowledgeable and happy to answer our many questions. We were fortunate to be the be the only two in our vehicle which meant a much more personalised time with the guide. If the vehicle had been full (9) he wouldn’t have been able to give us the same attention.
The trip from Jo’burg to the reserve was a long one (2.5hrs) but the mini bus was comfortable and the driver friendly and capable. We were kept up to date via txt messages regarding pick up times etc. Altogether a positive experience- you just have to hope you’re part of a small group !

Everything was great! The safari was amazing and we had the chance to see many of the big 5, the ranger could transmit a lot of information. Quite recommendable!

The safari experience was mesmerising and surreal.
The service provided was great and since the pick up and drop service was available it was easy. Our guide provided us excellent and great insights on the wildlife we find at the park. A big shout out to Captain B.
Spotted big 3 of the big 5, and many other beautiful creatures too.
Overall a great great experience. A must for anyone who visits SA.

This is a nicely packaged 1 day activity for safari enthusiasts or novices. We were able to see various exotic animals including zebras, kundus, hippopotamus, rhinos, a cobra, and a leopard. Not too many cats. But you get what you paid for. Great activity overall.

Great experience for those who are short on time. Elephants, girafes, hippos, rhinos... And even leopards.

The tour was overall very good. Our tour guide Lejoy/Letabho is a very knowledgeable person. He educated us all for sure and provided very interesting facts about the animals. He also did his best to spot animals for us. Our transfer person (Irvin) was very entertaining as well. I appreciate the pickup/drop off from the hotel from Pretoria. The lunch was good as well. It was amazing to see so many elephants, giraffe, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, kudus, rhinos. We spotted two lions at a distance, but I wish it would be a closer experience. No buffalo, which was a little disappointing. But overall definitely worth it. Lastly, while I was traveling solo the rest of the team (A-Team) was very friendly and had a great time. Thank you MoAfrika.

Great group to travel with. You have to be lucky. Nice park, but don't compare it with Kruger; less animals and less variety. I got picked up first, and then you may be unlucky; too much time in the car, back and forth from hotel, park, hotel
