Giethoorn was absolutely beautiful... even with the rain. Our tour guide, Reinier was a wonderfully informative and attentive guide. When it started raining in Giethoorn, he was running around with umbrellas to everyone in the tour. A very enjoyable day!

This 10 hour tour was the bomb. First all great host and driver Leidse. Great and timely communication skills letting us know who he is and when he will be picking us up at our hotel. Very professional. Next this your leaves earlier than the large bus tours so we beat the crowds to each stop. A plus! Next his banter with the guests was excellent telling Dutch history about the route we were taking and where we were going. He remembered everyone’s first name a skill I lack as an old man and integrated everyone into the conversation. The 3 places we visited were outstanding. He didn’t just drop us off tell us when to be back and leave us on our own. He lead the group thru the sites offering comments and suggestions on where to visit and where to eat and the most important where’s the potty. Tess and I loved the wind mill part of the trip and the make your own hot chocolate with whipped cream. Tess loved the diamonds exhibition but something happened to out my credit card on hold. Oh well!!! The dyke story was incredible and the Venice of the Netherlands visit was spectacular including the one hour canals cruise. This 10 hour day was spectacular and went quick. There’s great value in investing in and taking this tour. I highly recommend. But remember Mr, Guide Of The Year, it’s still called soccer!!

Rainier was such an amazing guide! Very informative about all things: not just what went on during the tour but with other questions we had relating to our travel experience in The Netherlands. Really enjoyed each and every minute with him and our entire group. Would highly recommend this excursion.

A thoroughly enjoyable tour with a very attentive tour guide to Zaanse Sachens and Giethoorn. They contacted us by WhatsApp the day before and we were picked up at our hotel without issues in a Mercedes Benz SUV. Reinier, our tour guide, was friendly, informative and very helpful. The group was of eight people and the drive was smooth. He readied WiFi, bottled water, power banks and umbrellas in the car. Zaanse Sachens was very scenic and the cheese factory offered tastings of almost all their cheeses. The boat tour in Giethoorn was easy and peaceful. Reinier was experienced in handling both the boat and the car. We enjoyed our day and the beautiful view immensely.

We were picked up at our hotel by Reinier and joined 5 others for our day long adventure. Reinier was informative, got us to Giethoorn early so we beat the crowd - BIG high 5 for this!! Giethoorn was beautiful and we had a great lunch there as well. Reinier was a careful driver (always important!). The Dyke was ok, if you run out of time skip this. Then we went to Zaanse Schans to see the windmills. The windmills were interesting and we got to see how clogs are made and then taste cheese - the cheese was really good! Had a wonderful day with Reinier and the other tourists! Ask for Reinier if you get the chance! Oh P.S. they might want to check the shocks in the mini van. :)
