When we arrived we had the chance to do a VR experience showing us some history of Venice whilst we waited which was ok.
We had to walk for 5 minutes to get to the glass blowing location and when we got inside we watched a 5 minute demonstration of a man making a vase and a small horse. Even though the guide said he had to speak in English or Italian he proceeded to speak German and French too and did not explain how the glass was made at all.
We were then guided into a shop which was extremely expensive.
I would have liked to have learnt about how the glass is made rather than just some guy saying ooh look he's making a blue vase, or a small horse.
On our ticket it says we would get a small gift. When I asked the guy laughed and said there is no gift sorry, that is wrong.

The demo is very short. It is an opportunity for the glass company to sell to you but it wasn’t a hard sell situation. It was informative and we were glad we did it since we didn’t have time to go to Murano Island.

Since we were unable to go to Murano, this tour was perfect to see how Murano glass products are made.

I thought it was awesome! Such a cool intro to glassblowing. I thought in the info about it it said we would get a tiny glassblown gift, but I must have been mistaken.

Having traveled to Murano for a tour in the past, I felt it was not necessary to make that trip again on this trip, even though I wanted my family to experience the glass blowing process. Going to the local showroom in Venice, we were able to skip the lines, experience the glass blowing, and have the opportunity to see all of the designs. Well worth the time and investment.

Demonstration was very short.
The shop is good sowing off the many different items and colours and techniques if you are intending to buy authentic Murano Glass.

Horrible. Ripoff.
The mtg place is 15 min to the left in an alley- we found that then found our other tour mtg place- walked around went to mtg place and a girl walked up 15-20 min to the rt between alleys and shops- ww got there and had to wait for a lg group to go- waited at least 15-20 min
. Finally went upstairs and one guy blew a vase w a horse on top maybe 5 min while someone explained-. Then he walked us thru entire gift shop following us saying everything is for sale. Gave us a small piece of glass candy. Just a waste of time. My daughter watched glass blowing at a different place and said it was great. I don't know what we pd for. To watch 5 min? I have seen more at shops around the USA. Don't waste ur money

There was a ten minute demonstration, while they tried to sell us stuff the rest of time. The glass was pricy there, so you are better of buying glass at one of the smaller shops in Venice. Although, I did learn a little bit about making glass during the demonstration, so that was cool.

The experience was interesting, but its really just a short demonstration of glass blowing, then a brief talk on the Venetian history of glass, and then just a hard sell in the shop. No actual opportunity to do glass blowing.
