Yala safari and the Elephant orphanage were the highlight of out trip. We saw all wildlife apart from the elusive leopard. Udawalawe is great for the variety of birds. The whole trip was well organised. Staff were superb and very friendly. A very long day but very memorable.

We were supplied with a fantastic driver that picked us up from our resort, and drove us directly to the first park. Udawalwe park is amazing for elephants. We had a great driver and guide and we saw a huge number of animals, up close and varied. We then went to watch a huge amount of baby elephants (orphaned :( ) being fed. This was fun, and pretty quick. Our driver then whisked us to lunch, which was very nice indeed. Super friendly staff, great food. Then on to Yala park, and we had yet another 5 star driver. He'd been working there for 32 years and knew everything there was to know. He's the really lucky part, we were blessed to see a leopard after only around 10 mins of being at the park. This is not normal, there are only around 35 leopards at the park and they don't like to be on show! We were very lucky. We saw a great variety of animals, crocodile, water buffalo, mongoose, monitor lizards, frogs, so many birds, elephants, this list goes on. Then back to our hotel without a hitch I highly recommend this trip! Thank you Bentota and team!!!

This was our second excursion did with BTM and this was the best day of our holiday. Early morning pick up was very worth it as we we lucky enough to spot a leopard within 30 minutes after we started Yala Safari. Both Safaris were equally good. Provided everything as agreed in the booking and Sam was always in touch with us from our arrival to Sri Lanka. Thank You again for Sam & his Team for providing very good service for us making our holiday unforgettable.

What an absolutely fantastic day out! We were collected on time by a happy Rahul who whisked us away for our 2 safaris in one day! An exhilarating tour after breakfast was followed by lunch, watching the orphan elephants at feeding time then the afternoon safari, where the animals and landscapes were breathtaking!! It really couldn’t have been better!!

The trip was excellent! Our guide at udawalawe was exceptional, he worked hard to spot interesting birds and let us know their behaviour to get the best shots. Everything was taken care of for us and we had an excellent experience. Thus was the second trip we take with 'Bentota Travel Mart' and their service is excellent!

The two national parks are incredible with a huge variety of wildlife, especially birds. There is a tendency for the guides to rush to leopard sittings and these can be overcrowded so please tell your guide if you feel there are too many vehicles at a sighting. The Buddhist temple was very interesting and broke up the day in a good way (plus it has monkeys). We are grateful to our guide Dinesh for taking us there. The orphan elephant feeding was a bit dispiriting as the keepers used sticks to discipline the elephants. An option of dropping the elephant feeding and having a long lunch at the Red restaurant (where the breakfast is) would be better suited to our tastes. The lunch restaurant in the itinerary is fine but far from exciting. Sam, the manager from Bentota travel mart was very helpful with all the information and that really helped. Our driver Dinesh was professional and pleasant.
