Itinerary
A Tandem Skydive over the Gold Coast amazing beaches is an experience of a lifetime. After a short training session of approximately 15 minutes covering the equipment, free fall techniques, how to exit the aircraft and what to expect, you will accompany your instructor to the aircraft which will be taking off from the international airport. Once inside the aircraft you will ascend to your exit height of 12,000 feet. While climbing you will be able to take in the amazing views of the Gold Coast.
You will be securely harnessed to your instructor as you get ready for the rush of a lifetime! Your freefall will last approximately 45 seconds right over the beach. You whiz past huge white clouds on your rush back to earth. After reaching terminal velocity your instructor will deploy the parachute for a 4 to 5 minute float back to earth, the perfect opportunity to take in the awesome views of the gold coast. Your adventure concludes with a landing on the soft sandy beach at Kirra and the presentation of your Jump Certificate. Please Note: maximum weight for this experience is 95kgs

Please note: there must be a 24 hour gap between your last scuba dive and your tandem skydive. You can skydive and then scuba dive however so if you'd like to do both, consider booking your jump first
Due to the weight / balance of the parachute, passengers weighing over 95kg must contact the local operator prior to jumping
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

What a fantastic experience. The staff were all massively enthusiastic but why wouldn’t you be if you jumped out of planes for a job!
Can’t fault anything about this company. Everyone was friendly and the customer service was awesome.
Highly recommended.

The moment push off the plane was scared me to death! Then I tumbled twice upside down, eyes closed in the first 5 seconds. Thanks to my coach Luke, he quickly calmed me down, tapped my shoulder to open my arms to fly……. The most exciting thing I have done for my first trip to Australia, the crew is very professional and patient, they are amazing 👍😊

Very welcoming staff, I jumped with Luke who was an absolute champ. Luke has 15years under his belt, so very calm and comfortable environment. Short bus ride to airport, then about 10-15mins till you're up in the sky and ready to dive. The thought of jumping out of a plane terrified me until I took the leap, which I will never regret. Great experience, must do!

What a great experience!! Jumping out of a plane is a scary thought but the guys were very professional and fun somehow we felt more relaxed and pumped up. Highly recommended!!! Will definitely do this again 😎

I am a first time jumper and I jumped with Rick.
Over the moon with the experience, would recommend the skydive experience to anyone. Rick had a great ability to put me at ease and I would definitely jump again. I purchased the video package and am grateful I did so. Great day, great team, great experience. Can’t speak highly enough of my experience.

Thank you, Gold Coast Sky Dive, for offering this experience. Thank you to my Kids for giving me this. Thank you to Luke my instructor, you were amazing and so kind. I was initially terrified and didn't want to do it. I am so thankful and grateful to all of you who believed I could do it and got me there. This was the best experience of my life and I've lived a bit. To anyone who like me doesn't think they can do it, swallow the fear. Make sure you buy the video too; I've already watched it twice and cried both times with the joy of having done this. I'll be back!!!!

🌟BEST EXPERIENCE EVER 🌟
Being a total newbie wanting to tick of a bucket list item I made the best decision ever in choosing Gold Coast Skydive 🪂 the team are the absolute bomb ! From the first call to book my jump to the day of jumping I could not of asked for more professional, easy going, amazing people. From the team behind the scenes to the SUPER AWESOME instructors I could not recommend them highly enough. They made my day so enjoyable & fun, there expertise in calming nerves is incredible as I had a wigout about exiting the plane & it was no fuss all good let’s go 😁 & I cannot thank my instructor Mike enough for giving me the biggest adrenaline rush of my life ! Phil, my outside cameraman is impeccable at his job, giving me footage of memories I’ll have for life of my first jump 😁 I felt super safe with the whole team, using only the best equipment available, attention to detail was paramount for them. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou ! I’m now hooked & will be booking my next jump in a couple of weeks 🤭 If you’re thinking of skydiving & are in any doubt, seriously get in touch with these guys ❣️

I organised the parachute jump 9 months in advance as a present for my wife and our 18 year old neice. Gold Coast Sky Dive kept in communication and closer to the date advised of a couple of changes to the jump times to ensure we had the best possible weather window. On the day the conditions were perfect to achieve a hieght of 13,000 feet. The office and dz was ideally sighted on the beach and only a couple of minutes apart, so no faff whatsoever. I could even see the aircraft taking off and gaining height from the beach. I booked the video and photo package for our 2 jumpers and we sat and reviewed it all evening reliving the moment. The tandom pilots did a fantastic job of getting as much content as they could, and their enthusiasm to their customers made the experience very personal. All in all I was well chuffed with the result and would highly recommend booking with GCSD. If you have ever wanted to tandom then your pretty much going to get your jump in here. Unlike the many aborted days I've tried to book it in the UK. Top Job all Thanx.
