An absolutely incredible day, Leifur was our guide and he was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. The snowmobiling was a highlight of the trip, but the driving to and from the 4 or 5 different stops was incredibly entertaining and informative with all of the history and stories of Iceland that you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else as a visitor. Unsurprisingly, the views and locations are breathtaking and unlike anything found in the rest of the world. Couldn’t recommend this tour more.
Highly recommend having a small duffel bag or drawstring bag with a rain coat, hat, gloves, and scarf, as Iceland has a habit of having different weather between every location, from warm and sunny to dark, rainy, and freezing.

What a great experience. Our guide Liefur was friendly and helpful- communication was good, the ride was comfortable, and the tour was very well organized. The experience of riding snowmobiles on the glacier was unforgettable! And the waterfall, geysers, and National Park are incredible to see. Don’t miss out! Highly recommend.

The Golden Circle and Glacier Snowmobiling Day Trip from Reykjavik was outstanding. The excursion included Gullfoss with its massive, awe-inspiring waterfalls and geysers at Geysir which were a delightful spectacle, bubbling and erupting with excitement. The last stop of the day was Thingvellir National Park, where the views were simply breathtaking. Coupled with the thrill of snowmobiling on a glacier, this trip is a must-do for anyone visiting Iceland. The combination of natural wonders and adrenaline-pumping activities made it unforgettable.
The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and deserves the highest praise.

Snowmobiling on top of this glacier was a once in a lifetime experience. The staff were the coolest people. Their base camp was pretty cool with music going when we got off the super bus. The instructions for the gear and the snowmobile were easy to follow and they were set up to make it easy to learn and understand how to drive the snowmobile. The landscape and views were incredible.

This was by far the best tour we took in Iceland. I’d heard it was a must do and the reviews weren’t wrong. The bus size and group were small, our tour guide Albert was amazing providing just enough interesting facts but not too many to overload you. The big thing to note is to layer. While the Golden Circle spots may be fairly warm, the glacier is cold and windy. Once you start whipping the snowmobile around, it gets even colder. Our only issue was we seemed to have a defective snowmobile that for the first 25 minutes repeatedly stalled and we held up the line, or people went around us. During the first break I reported the issue, the guides drove it around and saw the issue and gave us one of their snowmobile. While the issue was resolved quickly, we never should have left with that initial machine. It stalled before we even started off. One of the guides just put his thumb on the lever and waited until it took off. I asked him are we good and he said yes… but we actually stalled out seconds later and repeatedly over the next 25 minutes. It was a very rough, jerky ride. That all changed in the last 25 minutes when we were issued a new machine. Such a smooth ride. Like night and day. Apart from that, everything else was top notch. 10/10!
