Long all day tour. Coach was very full, not a lot of room.
Frequent stops though and at each there was a very long queue for amenities which was to be expected. Got to see 4 major attractions and the tour guide was very knowledgeable, although his English was a bit ‘dodgy’. Was extremely tired by the end of the day. All round, though, a good tour. I enjoyed it.

Great experience, Dennis our tour guide was chatty and explained things clearly. Out bus broken down not long after we set off, however within 15 mins another bus turned up and we were on our way-very impressive. You get just the right amount of time at each location. I would recommend this tour.

This was a great overview of some of the “must sees” in Southern Iceland.
At first my husband and I were concerned by how large the group was. Especially since we had already done a tour with a much smaller group a couple of days prior. And then on the way out, there was an issue with the bus, so we had to wait for a new one haha. But after that little hiccup we were on our way.
Our guide, Dennis, was excellent. He was a great guide and somehow managed to keep such a large group together and on time. Must be his experience as a professor!
We really the beautiful places we saw and the things we learned. Definitely recommend this tour.

It was a great experience, absolutely worth the cost and very well planned. We got to see a lot of amazing places and receive plenty of insights from our local guide, Vick!
The only downside to an amazing day was not being able to consume our own packed lunch within the restaurant where we had the stop. We hadn’t been told about this and it would’ve been nice to know. Thankfully, it wasn’t overly cold or raining so it didn’t become an issue.

A nice day trip from Reykjavík. It gives you a little taste of Iceland. Includes a crater lake, waterfall, geysers, and mountainous landscapes. In addition to this day trip I would recommend to try a coastal trip too. South coast and the peninsula northwest of Reykjavík are nice.

Overall the trip was not that great. The sights were beautiful but the organization of the entire trip was a tourist trap. The guide took us to 2 different locations not listed on the itinerary and listed them as “surprises” but were just thinly veiled attempts at getting us to spend our money on local shops. Every location we visited had a restaurant and gift shop which was outrageous. The guide did not stop talking the entire 8.5 hours. He was terrible at providing information while we were driving. He would say “if you look here” but would never say if it was on the right, left, or in front of the bus so we were left looking every which way. You would have to be sitting in the front of the bus to even get what he was talking about. I would never do a big bus tour ever again. We also went to Thinglevirr park and were told we could either stay on the bus with just the driver or take a hike to the top of the cliff to see the waterfall. This was poorly explained because the guide had the group walk to the top of the waterfall which was only about 15 mins. As the group was walking back to the bus area, the bus left to meet everyone at the top of the hill which was another 45 minute walk. Personally I think the bus should have waited and if people wanted to walk up the hill they’d have the option or the bus could take them up. Overall, was not happy with the experience.

It is a whistlestop tour with crater, waterfall, Geysir, National Park & bonus stop for the horses! Wish I had more time for each place to properly explore/hike so good job on PR for a longer visit to Iceland 😜
Our guide/"motivational speaker" "Beggy" & driver "Captain Cow Bell" - I didn't ask for the story behind that! - were superb, gave us the brief history of Iceland, some cultural notes + how tourism is now such a huge part of the economy!
We even appreciated the folk song Beggy sang which reminded me of Celtic sea chanties I've heard (melody) - we don't speak Icelandic so we assume it was real 🤭

Fantastic tour. The tour was organised brilliantly with not issues at all. We had plenty of time at each stop in the Golden Circle. The tour guide was lovely.

Thanks to our Tour Guide Dave and his little assistant Jeff I had a nice day exploring the miracles on the Golden Circle. Dave told us a lot of interesting information about the icelandic history and culture during the bus ride, which I enjoyed very much. We fortunately also had excellent weather conditions which made the trip even better.
