Explore the stories of the vikings and early Danish history.
Duration: 55 minutes
Stop At: Frederiksborg Castle, Frederiksborg Slot 10, Hillerod, Hilleroed Municipality 3400 Denmark
You will get time to explore Frederiksborg Castle on your own. Tickets are included. The 2h and 15 minutes are including a lunch stop. You decide how much time you wish spending seeing the castle, and how much time you wish to spend with the lunch.

Stop At: Kronborg, Kronborg, Middelfart, Funen and Islands
Explore Hamlet´s Castle, Kronborg. You will be provided with its place in Danish history and get the story of the castle´s role in Shakespeare´s Hamlet

Traveler pickup is offered
We offer a hotel pickup from most hotels in the centre of Copenhagen. We will pick you up 30-50 minutes before the tour starts. You will receive an e-mail with the exact pickup time at least 24 hours prior to the tour.
We do NOT go to hotels outside the city center. This includes hotels near the airport such as Crowne Plaza and AC Bella Sky and hotels in the Nordhavn area such as Adina Apartments. Certain hotels which are located within a few minutes' walk of the starting point are also not included because you would spend a lot more time getting picked up and then driven around to other pick ups rather than just walk a few minutes directly to the starting point of the tour if you are staying right next to it.
You are very welcome to contact us to inquire about specific hotels.
Your bus for the day is a plain white mini-bus.

PLEASE NOTE: The tour will involve a lot of walking and steep stairs. As the historic sights are not equipped for accessibility, the tour is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or for people having difficulties with long distances of walking.

Every aspect of the tour was fantastic. It gave my wife and I a wonderful insight into the history, lifestyle and beauty of Denmark. It was a very enjoyable day. The tour guide was Cillas. He was one of the best we have had on tours we have taken around the world. He made the experience memorable. We were very thankful to have him.

We loved our tour with Sillas! The tour includes several cities outside of Copenhagen. Sillas was kind, welcoming, inclusive, extremely knowledgeable, a good driver and funny. We would recommend any tour with him.

We hoped to take a wonderful tour around special places in Copenhagen during our once in a lifetime trip there. We made reservations for three of us for the full day tour. Upon arriving at the van pick-up spot, we awaited the arrival of the van. Surprisingly, there were only two seats remaining for the three of us. Something was terribly wrong. The driver of the van suspected we were at fault. However, after tirelessly convincing him of our reservations, he contacted the company and explained the issue for us. We also spoke to the company representative. No help was offered. None. No additional vehicle was proposed to pick us up and follow the tour we paid for. The other passengers had to sit through a tiring delay, wondering what was going to happen. My family and I were totally embarrassed during the whole event, delaying innocent passengers while looking like fools and scapegoats. And again, no effort was made by the company to provide any relief to us. Eventually, the van drove away, leaving us alone on an unfamiliar sidewalk to fend for ourselves as best we could on a rainy, cold day. I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a company as I was this day. A week later, a shallow "apology" was offered by the president, as well as an inconsequent 25% discount on a future trip should we ever be able to return to a distant land that took more than 70 years to get to the first time. I only want the reader to seek other travel companies for trips in Copenhagen. These people are simply vile, disgusting and incompetent. DON'T TAKE THE CHANCE!

This is a great way to see historically important and interesting sites near Copenhagen, all in one day. It's nice to just have 8 or so other folks in the group so that it's quick and easy to get from one place to another. Our guide, Chris, did a great job in providing historical information as well as in getting us from place to place. And he helped us deal with a sprained ankle that happened early in they day. Thanks, Chris!

Silas was a great guide. He was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. He made the tour more enjoyable. It was a nice way to spend the day seeing things not usually seen if you never venture out of Copenhagen.
