Follow your expert guide and small group into the stunning landscapes of Nairobi National Park, where you'll have the chance to see some of the nation's most iconic animals in the wild.
The tour to Nairobi National Park takes you to this unique wildlife sanctuary only 7 kms from the Nairobi bustling City Centre where you have chance to see 4 of the Big 5 (expect the elephant) against the back drop of the city tall buildings. Nairobi National Park Kenya's first ever National park is a unique and unspoilt wildlife haven within sight of the city's skyline. Rhino, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, lion and plenty of antelopes and gazelles can be seen roaming in this open plains country with a section of highland forest as well as stretches of broken bush country, deep, rocky valleys and gorges with scrub and long grass. Ornithologists catch with over 300 bird species including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, vultures, peckers and many more.

James, our tour guide, picked us up this morning on time. Lions, giraffes, hypos, rhinos, zebras, ostriches, and many other animals were visible. James found the animals with what appeared to be a "natural GPS." He would identify them and alert coworkers who were transporting other people. Thank you James. Watson was a wonderful driver and guide. He contacted us the day before with arrangements and picked us up right on time, following the planned schedule to a T. We told him we had just come from Masai Mara and seen all Big Five but wanted more rhinos so we focused on that and he delivered! We even saw rhinos mating and the park rangers requested our video to keep in their record as they keep regular numbers on the rhinos and want to know if she conceives. After a great game drive, we got to the Elephant Orphanage exactly on time for a great viewing spot and then Giraffe Centre afterwards. We appreciated Watson's professionalism and experience and would certainly hire him again upon a return to Kenya.

Watson is a wonderful/wonderful host. He made sure that we are picked in time and moreover assisted us with the entry into the Nairobi National Park. He further greeted us with accurate and appropriate information about animals in Nairobi National Park.

If you're already in Nairobi make sure you book this excursion by yourself and save 50 dollars.
The entrance fee to the park is not included. The website is deliberately making this unclear. I only saw this on the second page in the voucher, after buying the ticket.
We didn't have a 4×4 van as was promised.
I could have done the same exact half day safari, in the same van for much less if I had done it through the locals.
Long live Kenya, f viator and TripAdvisor.

It's a good value for the price. Watson showed us plenty of the local animals and made sure that we have the best view. I recomend it.

It was a good experience. And our guide, Watson was well experienced and knew the good safari spots in Nairobi and Kenya overall. However, I would recommend the full day trip instead of the half day for anyone interested.

We decided to do this tour while transiting through Nairobi and it was so worth it! We got picked up from the airport on time and were even taken to get some food before the tour.
The tour surpassed my expectations! I couldn't believe how many animals we saw, I lost count of the amount of rhinos, lions and giraffes etc. (I understand this is also due to luck sometimes, but also the willingness of our guide to go deep into the park)
We saw lions, gazelles, giraffes, impalas, water buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, zebras, little monkeys, warthogs, rhinos, vultures, a python and a jackal.

it’s a really great Safari because all the vans have radios to coordinate making sure you get to see the animals in the park and you’re very up close to the animals for a great experience and some great photography. It was an awesome morning trip even if we had to wake up a little early, it was worth it, had a great time.
