Can not say enough about how great our half day whale watching tour was with Prince of Whales tours. We took so many pictures and after the cruise, they sent us pictures taken on board by their staff. Amanda was very helpful telling us about the different animals we saw, about their habits and general information about our trip. We saw a pod of Orca whales with a baby born just a couple months before. We also saw a bald eagle atop a marker. Then they spotted seals sunbathing on timber holding pads. And on the way back to Vancouver, we spotted a gray whale. The Captain stopped for each sighting so we could take ample pictures. It was a perfect day!

This trip was amazing. The crew were obviously passionate about what they do. We were incredibly lucky and saw so much wildlife the highlight being a few pods of orcas. We must have seen 10 or more. The highlight of my trip !! I would definitely recommend. Thus experience will stay with me forever. One last thing they take photos so you can concentrate on watching the amazingly fabulous animals.

Great weather for a few hours whale watching. Spotted a few whales. Not so many as hoped but you can not control nature unfortunately.

Very nice boat for the spray, we would have FROZE in the rafts, great staff, incredibly pleasant experience. Saw seals, sea lions, and orcas....not other whales but they got some really incredible photos of Stanley the bull orca and his pod.

A great day out! We were very lucky and saw a pod of orcas, seals and eagle. We took our 10 month old baby and felt well looked after by the crew, who were happy to answer any questions we had. It felt like a really well run day with very knowledgeable crew. Thoroughly enjoyed, a highlight of our trip. We also received pictures just a few hours later so that we could share with friends and family. Special thanks to Miranda, she answered all our silly questions and gave some great insights into different wildlife in the BC area.

Even though we had an amazing day, the way this is advertised, I was expecting to see more whales. However, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and got a great video of the humpback whales. Would still recommend this trip but bring a very warm winter coat.
