Located north of Cairns, Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is the best place to see crocodiles and Australian wildlife in Tropical North Queensland. Walk along the timber boardwalks and pathways, through woodlands and rainforest to see an array of tropical birds, reptiles, insects and other native fauna.
Start your adventure with a boat cruise exploring the Melaleuca wetlands, home to the estuarine (saltwater) crocodile. Then, explore the different zones of the park at your leisure. There are entertaining and educational wildlife presentations to enjoy each day. (See below for times.)
Watch the notorious ‘head shake’ and ‘death roll’ at the Crocodile Attack educational show, see some of the world’s most venomous snakes, and help feed the koala’s and cassowaries.

Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures is a long time accredited member of Ecotourism Australia and is the only wildlife park in Australia to be located within and surrounded by UNESCO World Heritage listed forest.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Crocodiles everywhere! There were other animals to see as well. Learnt a lot about crocodiles; tour guides within Hartley’s were experienced and shared a lot of information. It was fascinating

The beautiful drive to Hartleys, seeing the Koalas, Kangaroos, and crocodiles up close. I enjoyed the crocodile feeding show and the stories of how they ended up at Hartleys.

Was collected by Beaches Meet & Greet for transfer on time from my hotel. I never usually give 5 stars but I had an amazing day saw all I wanted to see arrived about 1.30 pm in time to get a picture with a koala before the snake show then a quick wander round before the crocodile
Attack show then a cruise round the lagoon to see how croc feed. A totally amazing afternoon would recommend

Hartley’s is OK if your into crocodiles - but you don’t need a full day there, 12 onwards is perfect unless you have smaller children you need a little more time
The shows were good and the staff were very knowledgeable
The highlight of the day was getting to taste crocodile meat (you pay for that, it’s in the kiosk section)

As close as we hope to ever get to real reptiles! The croc feedimg show is amazing and the kids were entertained throughout the entire demonstration.

The best part was watching the crocs jump out of the water to grab the dangling food, and the croc attack show, where a trainer spent 30 minutes teasing a croc and putting himself up as bait.
