Went there while our wives went to Van Gogh museum and it kept us busy with some beers, interesting how it all started with old machines and how it evolved.

The Heineken Experience was an absolute blast, we really enjoyed it! We learned a lot and thought it was cool that we could get a couple bottles customized to bring home with us. We would definitely go again next time we’re in Amsterdam. The canal cruise on the other hand (and why I deducted a star from my review) we didn’t really enjoy. We listened to an audio that really did not give us much information, and the driver just pointed as the audio cues came up. If you’re looking to learn more on the history side, an actual guided canal cruise would be much better.

I think we got on the wrong boat, gray line instead of blue boat located near the Heineken brewery. The tour was self guided and I did not like it. I missed a lot of things. And it was definitely not interactive. Would not recommend!

I had booked a tour with the hope of experiencing everything that was promised in the itinerary. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The first part of the tour was good where I had the chance to visit Heineken and learn about the history and process of making the beer. However, the boat tour was a disaster. When I made the booking, I was promised snacks and drinks, but I didn't receive any of that. As a result, I had to book another tour the next day with a different provider to get the full experience. The overall experience was below my expectations, and I wouldn't use this company again.

This was a great combination! The boat tour is easily accessible right across the street from the Heineken experience building. The Heineken experience is 'self guided' with a handful of descriptions/interactions from the Heineken staff. This was nice because once you enter the tour, you can go at your own pace while being guided in the right direction. It's a mix of history and stuff to interact with and at the end, you receive 2 beers in a really neat underground bar. The boat tour was handled by really nice staff who were able to answer all of my questions clearly. You receive headphones to plug in to listen to the canal tour landmarks in your language of choice. The boat is very long and was very packed for our tour at 4:45 on a Thursday afternoon. Overall, not a single negative thing to say about this package! Such a great experience, thanks!

This was a really fun and very interactive activity! My husband and I had a great time. Although it was pouring and we chose not to do the 75-minute Blue Boat Cruise, we still had a great time. We recommend it to anyone who enjoys Heineken!
