Best vibe inside the group and also between us and the guide Tati and our lovely assistant guide pecho. Always in the best mood, always looking out for us. They were really carefully that we feel well and don’t overexert ourselves. The food by the nice cook Joel was amazing. Especially the little sweet surprises in between. Thank you very much guys. It was an amazing experience 💜

Well organised trip to Ciudad Perdida. Our amazing guide Adriana made our trip one to remember, with facts about Sierra Nevada, its population, history and nature. The beds along the trek were comfortable and the food that was served fantastic. I highly recommend Expotour if you are planning on visiting Ciudad Perdida.

Amazing trip towards the lost city. It was the best thing we have done during our 3-week trip to Colombia. We had a group of 9 people plus 2 guides. They took good care of us at the camps with food and drinks. Please make sure you bring enough cash with you to buy extra water during the stops. At the camps there is filtered water which you can drink. But nice to buy fresh cold water or other drinks during the day. Also the camps where we stayed during the night were nice and looked better then some we have seen during the walk. Our guide was Nelson and he had so many stories to tell during the trip. Really recommend to book with company

Expotur was amazing. If you do this trek, do it with Expotur! Our guide, Diego, and our translator , Andre, were both fantastic. Knowledge, patient, attentive and fun - everything you could ask for. Diego has been guiding this trek for 19 years and was born along the river you will swim in. Expotur is very respectful of the local farmers and the indigenous peoples of these mountains. You are on their land so don’t go with a company that does not make respect of the indigenous people a priority. Expotur also has its own camp closest to the lost city (and nicer than the one other companies use) making the trip up the third day a bit easier. Lastly, our guide and translator were always at the front and back of our group (even though people were allowed to walk at their own pace in between). And the faster folks waited for the slower folks at the snack spots so we were a more cohesive group than others. One hiker from another tour company had gotten separated from her group and hadn’t seen them for a couple hours (so she walked with us). That would never happen with Expotur. This was a challenging trek in challenging conditions, but we had a fabulous experience.

Absolutely amazing experience. The trek was stunning with beautiful views all the way to the Lost City. The accommodation were surprisingly comfortable for being in the middle of the jungle. Thanks to Joel, the dishes were well prepared and the portions were generous. Enrique, our main guide was very kind and had an impressive knowledge of the area, his life also gave us a great insight of the Colombian history of the region. Isidro, our translator was 10/10 and his laugh and happiness were contagious. We loved it despite being it a medium to hard trek and the unlucky stomach bug. I would definitely recommend it to any adventurer!
