Hilton Head Island Dolphin Boat Cruise

You must do this while you're in Hilton Head! It was one of the highlights of our trip!! This 90-minute cruise went by way too fast. My only regret is that they didn't have an option that lasted 3 hours. It's the perfect way to get out on the water and take in some of Hilton Head's most scenic spots. Captain Spike and Wendy did a great job ensuring we spotted dolphins, and the entire Lowcountry staff was amazing - especially the kind woman who checked us in. There are no restrooms on the boat, but you can pop into one by the two restaurants (Carolina Crab Company and Black Marlin) prior to heading out. We ate at the CCC and the food was great. (Lots of southern options) Allow yourself an hour to eat before your cruise, as the only drawback of the restaurant was the lackluster service.

Captain Mary and First Mate Lee were very knowledgeable and made our voyage fun. Showed us many different things and Lee took pictures of couples. Unfortunately all we saw of the dolphins were a few noses and fins, so that was disappointing. Glad we went though, it was a nice boat ride and not very expensive.

First I’d like to thank the staff @ Lowcountry Watersports for rescheduling our tour today without hassle. Spike and Our host were excellent! Both were friendly and knowledgeable. So glad the weather cooperated!

The captain and the guide are super informative the boat are super nice and clean we saw tons of dolphins very beautiful day we love it so very much.

Chuck and Wendy were amazing...loved the history and nature lessons. Great way to spend part of a Sunday afternoon! We will be back!

The cruise was great. Both captain Lee and guide (can’t remember his name. He’s a former educator from Nee York) were knowledgeable. I would recommend to anyone traveling to Hilton Head Island.

The captain and crew, Kate and Dawn were pleasant and fun. Dawn was particularly good with the little kids especially a two and three year old who really enjoyed her antics. That said, the trip itself was mundane. There is only so much you can say about dolphins, and watching them dive for fish over and over quickly got boring. While Dawn did talk a bit about about some of the houses around the harbor there is so much more she could have told us about the history of Harbor Town , the native Americans, the Galla, the island etc. There was too much down time and after 45 minutes we were ready to return.

We had a lovely cruise & saw many dolphins! The boat was nice & both the boat captain & tour guide were very informed about the scenery.
