Amber for president! Had an amazing Jacobite steam train/ "hogwarts express" and Highlands tour from Inverness with Amber as the captain, who was absolutely fabulous. Amber told such interesting and funny stories and was amazing during the whole tour. We saw urquhart castle, commando memorial, Ben Nevis, rode the jacobite steam train and had absolutely wonderful weather, spent a lovely time in Mallaig, visited Glenfinnan, Fort Augustus and Dores and more. We even got to bring the highland Kuu Hamish around Fort Augustus and take some pictures. Aside from Amber being amazing we also had the most perfect weather this time around, A big thank you to Amber! / Camilia from Sweden ❤️

She gave us so many great tips and funny jokes that made our day the best ever! We highly recommend Highlander tours and Amber to make your Scottish trip the best it can be.

I traveled to Inverness to see Loch Ness and ride the steam train, but came away with so much more. Besides taking us to the advertised sights, our excellent tour guide and driver, Amber, immersed us in the history and culture of this marvelous country. You could really tell she loves Scotland and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her customers. In addition, she has great driving skills which she used when confronted with a reckless driver driving toward us in our lane. I highly recommend this tour and Amber.

Despite duck murder and a car on the wrong side of the road, we had a fantastic day! We had so much luck with the weather, and Amber made the 12 hours fly with her commentary and knowledge (and great manoeuvring on the winding roads). The Jacobite Steam Train was wonderful with a steward on board guiding us through (sit on the left side from Fort William if you want the best view of the viaduct). We were even lucky enough to squeeze in an extra stop to see the train pass over the viaduct on the way back (would recommend walking up to the viaduct to get the best experience). We did the equivalent tour from Edinburgh in October when the train was cancelled due to weather conditions and were so pleased to find out that this tour was also 5/5! Amazing way to discover and learn more about Scotland and the highlands.

Fun ride on the Hogwarts Express; fun to say we were on the train and see the area; We then boarded a nice van for a private tour of some various scenic areas/ parks etc in the Highlands. Definately take a private tour if you can as it allows you to enjoy each of the areas at your own speed and get better info about the area
