Could not find a free parking spot! Tried for 30 minutes with no luck. Many areas were blocked off, must of had some time of an event around there. Would have parked at Science museum but it’s a shocking $30!!!!

Diverse exhibits covering everything from dinosaurs to space, engaging for all ages. The Butterfly Center is a serene escape. Crowded on weekends, some exhibits may need updating. Overall, HMNS is a mustvisit for science buffs and families looking for an educational adventure.

My husband and I took our grandsons here (ages 8 and 10). They absolutely loved this museum. Of particular interest was the pendulum, Ancient Egyptian, the butterflies and especially the dinosaurs. They also loved the butterflies and insects. We also went to the short film on dinosaurs in the Planetarium which was very well done. We arrived first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds. I highly recommend doing that.

There are so many extras that are not included in the price of the tickets. Plus when you buy tickets through here the extras cost even more.

Our flight was canceled so we decided to try the museum on a rainy day. What an amazing way to spend 3 + hours anyone interested in science-especially with interest in paleontology. We also bought tickets to the butterfly exhibit-well worth it m. There is a good exhibit on insects before you get into the multilevel live butterfly experience. This museum had something for everyone with the variety of exhibits. Highly recommend for science interested teens!

It was fun, very educational and informative. Entire family had a great time, we had fun the some of the games they had for the kids and enjoyed the documentaries they were showing on the screen.

Worth a visit for a few hours - especially to see the dinosaurs and the rocks and gems. Pretty reasonable cost for food and drinks in the museum too!

This museum is just amazing, and I am usually not a big fan of science museums. Particularly the dinosaur/pre-historic exhibition blew me away, that is set up well with a certain sense of humor. The other exhibitions are interesting as well, so you will spend some time in this place. Schedule accordingly, preferably for Tuesday evenings when entry is free of charge.
