Itinerary

Pass By: Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery, Av. Costanera Rafael Obligado s/n, C1425 Cdad. Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina

Flight from Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Buenos Aires Airport to Iguazu.

Stop At: Iguazu Falls, Iguazu National Park 3370 Argentina

When you land after a roughly 2-hour flight, you will meet your guide and board a private vehicle equipped with air conditioning. Drive towards the Cataratas Waterfalls while your guide provides insight of the region's history.

After a 15-minute drive, you will arrive at the new visitors center at the entrance of Iguazu National Park and skip the line with your reserved tickets. First, go to the Nature Interpretation Center to learn more about the foundation of the park and its local flora and fauna. Then, climb aboard the park train with your guide, stopping at the Cataratas Station after an 8-minute trip. If you prefer, you can also get to the station by foot, following the green path toward the Upper and Lower trails. Walking along the path, be amazed by the magnitude and international view of the waterfalls on the Argentinian side. The trails are perfectly placed and easy to walk, offering the visitors spectacular views of this wonder of nature. At midday, follow your guide to the food center and enjoy a little rest and lunch (own expense) before taking the train to the Garganta del Diablo Station, further into the forest.

Duration: 6 hours

Stop At: Garganta del Diablo, Iguazu National Park, Puerto Iguazu Argentina

*Devil´s Throat (Garganta del Diablo) circuit is momentarily closed due to repairs of the passageways, that were washed out during the heavy rains in October. Inferior and Superior circuits are opened and operate normally.

Garganta del Diablo (The Devil's Throat) is the biggest fall in Iguazu, and the catwalks take you right on top of it! Be surprised by the strength and volume of water, which creates a permanent fog above the fall. Since this is a private tour, you can determine the order in which you'd like to view the park's attractions and set the pace that suits you. After spending a day astonished by the park's many falls and discovering more about this natural treasure, your guide will take you back to the Puerto Iguazu Airport in a private vehicle to catch your flight back to Buenos Aires. When you arrive at the Jorge Newbery Airpark or Ezeiza Airport, a private driver will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel.

What a day!! Incredible time. Eder, our guide, was great. Very knowledgeable, knew everything about the area and knew everyone. The falls were great, words cannot describe). Make sure you take the boat trip (like “Maid of the Mist” on steroids). Fitbit said I walked 18,000+ steps (not bad for 72yo). Driver meet us at the hotel, took us to the airport, flight was good, our guide was waiting when we walked off the plane. Return flight was just as easy.

The trip was very well organized and the communication before the trip was very good. Our guide, Sam, was excellent, he told us many things not only about the fall but also about other places in Argentina and Brazil. The fall itself is unbelieveble.

We arrived in Buenos Aires two days prior to a cruise going to Rio. We wanted to see the falls and thought it best to do it in one day. The Viator tour, and Signature tours as the actual supplier trip was flawless. From well before the trip, Signature tours was in touch with us and helped us secure slightly later flight times since we were pretty tired from our trip arriving the day before. We even had the option to upgrade to premium economy on the flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu for a small upgrade fee. The seats were perfect, very similar to first class on domestic flights in the US. Without asking them, the Signature tours rep, checked us in for both of our flights and forwarded boarding passes to us. Couldn’t be much simpler. The driver was at our hotel on time and our driver and her guide at Iguazu was easy to locate. The tour with Marcella was simply amazing. She knew so much about the falls. She was a professional and certified tour guide for the falls and she has been doing this for about 30 years. She had incredible stories and knew exactly where to take us and at the right time to avoid any crowds. She was always ready to take our photos if we wanted and spent much time explaining the history and many interesting stories about the falls. I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better guide, And it’s very hard to impress me, since I’ve owned my own travel company for almost 25 years. The return trip at the end of the tour was just as flawless going outbound. Again, this private tour was well worth the money.

The tour to the falls was something else. From the time the driver picked us up to the time a driver dropped us off at our hotel, it all was great. We especially liked our private guide at the falls, Valeria. She was very informative and helped us navigate all the walkways around the falls. The falls should not be missed as it’s one of God’s beautiful wonders. Be prepared for a lot of walking and some stairs. Rest up as it’s a long day but well worth it if you are doings it all in one day from Buenos Aires. Signature tours did have one hiccup which they took care of quickly.

Although it was a horribly early morning (5am pick up at the hotel in Buenos Aires) our super friendly driver Manuel made the trip to Ezeiza Airport really enjoyable. Great flight to Iguazú falls where we were met by our amazing guide Jessica, who lives there and is a total expert in Iguazu Park and Falls. After a local train ride, Jessica took us on two super walking trails- the upper and lower Circuits; however the trail to the Devil’s Throat had been damaged in October and was not open for hikes. Had a nice lunch break in the park. As an alternative to the Garganta del Diablo, we took a jungle safari ride to take the late afternoon Grand Adventure boat ride into Iguazu Falls- a thrilling power boat ride on the Iguazu River going directly into several of the falls- an adrenaline rush and a thoroughly drenching experience. Jessica met us at the park reception and dropped us at the airport for a return to Buenos Aires. Our same amazing driver Manuel met us at Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newberry and we were back at our hotel by 9pm. Very long day. Signature Tours made all the arrangements and dealt with all the details- we just had to enjoy! Manuel, Jessica and her driver were outstanding, knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, fully competent and great ambassadors for their country and company. Five stars out of five. *****************************************************

We had a wonderful time. The tour was very organized. Our tour guide offered to take us to the Brazilian side of the Falls when he realized our returning flight was late in the evening. Would highly recommend taking the boat ride on the falls.
