• It takes about 60 minutes to get from Old City to the airport, and 55 minutes to get from Taksim to the airport if there is no traffic. When you book your transfer, keep the possibility of traffic in mind
• Incoming flights will be monitored. Representatives will be there for you on time even if there is a delay to your flight

Having never been to Istanbul before, navigating the local taxi processes on the ground can be problematic and can easily result in being “taken for a ride”. With 6 people and much luggage, generally it would have meant getting 2 taxis, but a van provided with this service suited our needs perfectly and was cost effective. After booking this Viator service, the Saw Travel mgr, Deniz WhatsApp’d me to clarify questions and sent pics of the pickup point (new Cruise terminal) making things so easy. Exemplary service and I used them for several additional trips as well. Couldn’t recommend them more highly. It is essential that a cellular service works on your phone and you have WhatsApp to facilitate messaging on the street not just where free wifi is available. Invariably you may need to connect with a driver for a pickup location.

Driver arrived promptly at our narrow street non-hotel location and whisked us to the Istanbul airport in no time at all. He was so professional as was Viator in their communications. So much easier and very reasonably priced compared to cabs. Highly recommend this service.

Everything went very smoothly. Deniz communicated via Whatsapp before we left on our trip and provided detailed instructions on where to find the driver, including a short video. This was very helpful since Istanbul Airport is very large and it would be very easy to not find the meeting place. The driver was very helpful and did a good job getting us to our hotel.
