We had a wonderful experience at Eco Lodge ! Our tour guide Fernando was great! knowledgeable,patient,helpful... Lots of activities ,very well organized during the day and night . Food is freshly prepared, organic, tasty, abundant.. Excellent value for the money. Heat and humidity could be an issue for the sensitive ones...however , swimming pool is open 24 h available to cool off... Bug spray and sunscreen is a must!

A unique experience indeed. We saw a tone of amazing wildlife and it was so incredibe to be up close to this nature. The meals provided were good quality. Our tour guide Tito was fantastic also. He was 73 and born in the area. He knew so much and able to answer all of our questions. So the downsides... Be warned that the heat is inescapable. There are no fans or coolers. The only way to cool down was the pool which was warm being in the heat and then the pool turned my blonde hair green!!! We had a lot of downtime and wished we had actually booked the two night option instead. The fishing was at the wrong time of day to actually catch anything. the ziplines are fun, but don't take up much time. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is really enthusiastic about nature and Wildlife. Just make sure you come prepared for the heat and bring a book for all of the downtime you will have.

It was an awesome experience. The lodge is clean and the staff is friendly. Fernando, who was our guide, was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. We got to see alligators, otters, and a lot of other cool animals, bugs, and plants up close.

We booked a 3 nights / 4 days tour and we’re absolutely fascinated with the trip. Especially our guide Louis was awesome. He was very experienced in the jungle and showed us many species. Also we felt always safe with him knowing he has a huge back of experience. Thank you one more time for the great adventure! We can absolutely recommend the trip to anyone.

We had a great experience with lots of activities and time for relaxing. Ronald, our guide, had an almost supernatural ability to spot wildlife, day and night and had great knowledge of everything. The heat was oppressive at times, so think about going earlier in the season (Sept and Oct are likely the hottest months), or plan to spend a lot of time near the river where it is breezy (There's a weak cell signal near the river as well when Wifi doesn't work).

This was a great experience, the lodges were with everything you need in a good price to quality ratio. The garden was beautiful and had a nice swimming pool to chill after activities. Vegetarian food options were creative and healthy. Our guide Fernando gave us a lot of intormation about the jungle and its plants and animals. Fernando was very interested to create a good experience for our group. We saw many animals and were amazed by the nature. The only downside would be the weak wifi, but maybe the jungle is a good place to disconnect:) Very much recommend. Emilija and Jonas

We did this tour in August 2023 (the dry season) and saw an incredible array of animals: caymans, otters, a capybara, tarantulas, parrots of all kinds, monkeys…the list goes on! The activities planned for this trip were great: starting with a day walk learning about the jungle and how to survive if we ever got lost, fishing & kayaking on the river, a nighttime cayman boat ride, visiting a monkey island, a night walk to see tarantulas, a canopy walk with zip line and a beautiful canoe ride around Lake Sandoval. Whilst the tour itself was brilliant, it is important to flag how intense the heat, humidity and mosquitoes were. We found it incredibly challenging given there was no relief and at times, it was too much. Having said that, Amazonica Lodge was brilliant with a lovely swimming pool, good food and small smoke pits throughout the resort to support in keeping the bugs at bay. It is worth noting that the huts have no fans due to the limited electrical supply to the resort. Our guide, Ronald, was friendly, knowledgable and great fun. Having lived in the jungle until he was 16, he also had a number of incredible stories to share. Thank you Ronald! This was definitely an experience, with many highs and challenges, that we won’t forget. One thing that will stay in our memories for a long time is how Ronald effortlessly caught a cayman with his bare hands and then brought it onto the boat to show us up close. Ronald’s respect for nature was incredible to see and we came away with some of that same appreciation.

Wonderful wildlife and pristine jungle adventure with aras, monkeys, caimans, and big tarantulas. Beds were comfy and the kitchen created some special vegan menu, super tasty! Great garden and pool with some canopy and zip line in the back. Highly recommend Marcos as a guide!
