Let's see Ketchikan from a local's perspective! We can customize your tour to accommodate your party of up to 6! The are many options and your tour guide will talk to you one on one to secure a perfect tour. Some options include: Local totem parks, Local Waterfalls, Beach, George Inlet Crab Feast(Additonal Cost), local hike, Bear viewing (in season), etc. etc.
We customize our tours to meet your party's needs. We have something for all age groups and our experience helps make yours a memorable one.
We also have a few special spots not listed so we can see the surprise on your face!!
We are always on the lookout for wildlife as this is Alaska but we can make no guarantees. This is a wild place and unfortunately the wildlife are on their time and not ours.

We make it easy and will meet you where your ship docks or we can make an arrangement for an easy pickup and drop-off! We will pick you up at the dock where your ship lands. We will be waiting on the ship side of the dock near where you exit the ship. Please look for the Ketchikan Native Tours Guide and Van! Yes, we will pick up and drop off at Ward Cove! We are more than happy to make prior arrangements with your party to facilitate a smooth experience. We will gladly drop you off at other locations which you may want to revisit for further adventuring. You are on vacation and we want to make it an easy experience for you! Let's go!

We will need to establish a pick up and drop off point because your ship docks at Ward Cove which is 9 miles north of the city.
Norwegian guest if we are picking you up at Ward Cove we will meet you in the building where all tours are scheduled to depart. Look for the Ketchikan Native Tours Guide and Van!

We had a great time being escorted around Ketchikan on this tour in a comfortable van (just 4 of us but could have accommodated more). It wasn't a great weather day unfortunately but we made the most of it. Jody picked us up by our ship and tailored the tour to whatever we wanted to see. We opted for wildlife views along with the native parts of the tour. Sadly all the spots visited didn't have animals this time (did see Eagles), but that's how it goes with wildlife (no guarantees). Spots had others showing up so we knew they were "known" spots, but weather/timing was a factor I'm sure. Regardless, we got information about totems, local customs, the town, places to eat, and some interesting stories all while seeing the town. Tour was only supposed to be 2.5 hours but our guide wasn't in a hurry so she maximized our time in the van up until we had to leave to board the ship which was great. Very special way to see the city with a small group.

Mary was great! Very enthusiastic! Made every effort to show us all she could in Ketchikan. She was very patient and accommodating to the needs of my mother in law who required a walker. Even guided her to a shop to find local art. Thank you very much!

This was a great way to learn the Ketchikan culture from a native . We saw totem poles , visited a beautiful waterfall in a well appointed van .

We were a group of 4 adults and were lucky enough to have Sid as our guide. What a treasure she is and a wealth of information! We went from one end of the island to the other. We enjoyed all of her Information, history and amazing experience on native culture. We have been to Ketchikan several times and in all honesty THIS WAS OUR BEST EXPERIENCE! We loved seeing and hearing about the totems, the foraging in the forest as a way of life and Sid was eager and willing to share her knowledge. At the conclusion we chose to be dropped at Creek St. for a little shopping and there was time for all. THANK YOU SID for everything. As an added bit of info? She came prepared for children too with books and toys so parents could relax and enjoy their tour without fussy kids. THIS IS A FIVE STAR EXCURSION.

This was our favorite activity during our trip to Alaska. My only regret was that we did not have extra time to explore and learn more about the area. Our tour guide, Sid/Syd?, (I'm not sure how she spells it) was on time to pick us up at the port even though we were a few minutes late. She asked what we wanted to get out of our morning in Ketchikan and delivered on every count, and then some. She took us to the Totem park on the water and told us some history and stories behind some of the totems, as well as pointing out local flora and it's history and uses. We wanted to see some handmade crafts and books and she took us shopping downtown. She was even kind enough to suggest a quick stop so I could care for my baby. I was wanting some homemade food items to take home to friends and she popped by Julie's Jellies so I could get some local Spruce Tip, Gooseberry and raspberry preserves. It would have been enough that she had been so accommodating, but she was also an expert in the geography, culture, history and languages of the area. I'm so glad we found this tour and I whole-heartedly recommend it to other travelers who are interested in this kind of experience.

Kevin answered all my questions in advance. I am so glad that we had chosen this local company for our tour. Sharon was prompt and she displayed the company sign so there would be no confusion for pickup. There were 4 of us in our group. This tour was catered to what we had wanted to see and do. Sharon displayed professionalism, safety and she was very knowledgeable of the area. We went to the beach, saw a beautiful waterfall, went to the totem pole park, went shopping, looked for bears and saw different kind of wildlife.
Sharon made sure that we were having a great time and she made sure to get us back to the ship wayyy before time. From the beginning to the end this tour was phenomenal.
I am so glad that we had chosen this local company for our tour. It was money well spent! Tracey
