We will stop by a traditional restaurant that serves Kyoto local foods such as Obanzai (Kyoto vegetable plates).

We will try another Kyoto local cuisine at the second stop.

Naru was a brilliant guide and the food was fantastic. Perfect way to start our time in Kyoto. The route was great, Ponto street was fun and there was some great history and details we picked up that really added to it all. Having a great group really added to it all.

Did the tour with Naru- he gave us lots of insight into Japan food and culture and took us to places we never would have found and we tried food we never would have tried otherwise. Very good experience!

Yukari was very friendly and inclusive to everyone that was there! She was very knowledgeable of all the food and drink we were trying and gave her honest recommendations on which were her favorites or not. She also made sure everyone had a great time. I’d definitely recommend to anyone try a food tour!
