Visit: Lower Antelope Canyon, Page, AZ 86040
Tour Departure Point:
Lower Antelope Canyon
Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040
Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip.
Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways.
The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Fabulous experience, ~2.5 hr hike through a spectacular canyon. Tour guide Mr. Yellowman was fun and knowledgeable. He took pics of my wife and me and features only he would know, lion head, monkey face, twin hearts, seahorse.
Different than anything I’ve ever seen or experienced.

Our tour guide was amazing. The canyon was beautiful! Overall my favor part of our trip. Make sure to go before 4 so you don’t lose the sunlight down in the canyon or else some of the color of the rocks will be lost.

This tourwas the highlight of an epic trip west. Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. The visit was about 2 hours in length and involved some steep stairs and narrow passages. Be advised that you need advance tickets. We got ours several months ahead of time.

There are 2 Antelope canyons: the lower and the upper ones, both being highly recommendable to visit, though the tickets are expensive. This can be done only accompanied Navajo guides who are very professional. A photographer's heaven.

Group leader was very good. The tour was amazing, and unimaginable. The only negative was a couple who jabbered the whole time, and we had to make sure we were close to the guide in order to hear.
