Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Arena México, Dr. Lavista 189, Doctores, Cuauhtémoc, 06720 Ciudad de México, CDMX, Mexico

Before heading to the Arena, we will have cold beer and some amazing tacos at one of our favourite taquerías while we get to know each other, then we'll walk a few blocks to a cool bar or cantina where we’ll have great mezcal to get in the mood for lucha libre.

Please note the order of the spots may vary.

After that we’ll either walk or Uber to the Arena Mexico a few blocks away; we’ll be arriving before the two stellar matches.
On Saturdays we go to Arena Coliseo in Centro neighborhood.
We will participate in an amazing night of sport and spectacle with the Luchadores and their mysterious masks. While we see some theatrical spectacle coupled with amazing athletic moves, we will cheer and chant for our favourite team - rudos or técnicos.

| On Tuesdays we will start at 18:00 in Roma Norte.
| On Fridays, we will start at 19:00 in Roma Norte.

Had an incredibly fun time on this excursion. I had been to CDMX before, but it was our first time going to a luchador match. Half of the fun is the social aspect, along with the private speakeasy where they serve mescal y cerveza! The best part were the guides (Juan, Chivo, Regina, Paco), all of whom were gregarious, had fun lore/mythology on the history of luchadores, and seamlessly got a good group energy going. We had three male guides and one female, which was nice for balance. Our group was mostly American or English-speaking travelers, 20s to 40s. The taco spot they took us to was AMONGST THE BEST in Mexico City so far (we've had a lot of food from "Best of" Lists!). Cariñito, asian-inspired tacos. We loved the food so much we went back the next evening on our own. The speakeasy had cute adornment that helped get into the vibe of the match. (Note: Walking while drinking socially is half the fun, so if you are a non-drinker, some of the effect may be lost)) Well organized, and the seats were pretty close to the ring. You go home with a mask souvenir. Definitely an experience I will never have elsewhere, and the mescal was tasty too.

Lucha Libre is such a special part of Mexican culture and a guided tour is the perfect way to experience it (for newcomers). Pablo and Dulce received us with food and drinks before giving us an excellent introduction into the ins and outs of Lucha Libre Culture including a crash course on wholesome Spanish words to express our appreciation for the action on stage. If you come to Mexico City, I highly recommend you attend Lucha Libre at least once and doing it with this tour is an excellent way to get it exactly right!
