The positives : Great food in the camp; very good experience at the Sahara desert. Amazing sunset and sunrise, so beautiful. The camp tents were really above average equipped with electricity and private bathrooms. What needs to improve : No sand boarding (although offered in the itinerary) , not good coordination via Whassap before pick up, the drive was almost 7-8 hours, but it would have been great to know that in the itinerary. Finally, we got two flat tires, I think that was very dangerous, what is up with the quality of the tires or maintenance Of the transport? The driver Hussain did his best to be cordial and nice

During the trip myself and my partner were essentially kidnapped by the camel driver on the way back to camp after the sunset ride. After sunset, us and 21 others were waiting in the desert for camels to come and pick us up. After about 30 minutes, 3 camels showed up and myself, my partner, and a mother/daughter were instructed to get on the camels. About halfway back to camp, we met up with another 10 people from our group and the camel driver put the camels down and instructed the mother/daughter to get off but for me and my partner to stay on. The rest of the group asked if they could just walk back to camp instead of waiting for more camels that were not in sight. The camel driver said of course and led the trail of 3 camels and the walkers back to camp. Once arriving at camp, the walkers were instructed to turn into the back gate but he continued to take me and my partner further past camp. We initially thought he was going to park the camels around the other side where we had gotten on, but instead he continued on for another 30 minutes and stopped at a deserted camp in the pitch dark. We asked why we were there and where the others in the group were. The driver stated, "just sit down, the others are coming by car" even though it was clear that this camp was closed, empty, and not in any shape to receive guests for the scheduled dinner. The camel driver then attempted to sell us some items which we agreed to purchase in an attempt to get him to take us back to our original group. After about 20 more minutes of lies about why he took us to this spot, he agreed to take us back to the camp we were supposed to be at, but then claimed to be lost and started to head even further from the direction we were supposed to be going. Because I have a very good sense of direction, I was aware of where we needed to go so my partner and I took off quickly in the proper direction until we could see the faint light of the camp. Once we escaped back to the camp, visibly shaken, we collected our bags and asked to be directed to our room as the rest of the group had already been given tents and were washing up for dinner. Instead of being shown our tent, we were told again to just "sit down for a moment" and the staff continued on with their other business. I asked if I could use the bathroom but was told that the bathrooms are only in the tents. So I again asked if we could be taken to our tent then, but this request was ignored. As we waited to be shown to our tent, dinner was served and cleaned up and at about 2300, we were finally told our tent was ready. The staff took us back around the building to a car that was waiting and we were told that they would be driving us over to our tent. We asked what camp they were taking us to and the staff said, "just get in, we will show you." After the experience with the camel ride, we informed the staff that we were not interested in being separated from the rest of the tour group again and would like to stay here in this main camp with everyone else. The staff became confrontational and insisted we must get in the car to go to our tent as there is nothing for us at the main camp. Instead of separating from the group, my partner and I accepted an invitation from another guest to use an extra bed that they had in their tent for the night. Needless to say, we did not get any sleep that night as we anxiously awaited our departure time in the morning to get away from the dishonest and disrespectful staff from this tour. I do not know what the camel drivers intentions were if my partner and I had not ran back in the opposite direction to camp, but nothing about that situation felt safe or enjoyable as we expected based on the tour description. My request for a refund from this experience was denied. It was incredibly disappointing that our dream, "Luxury" trip to Morocco had to be tainted by the memories from this excursion.

Disorganized pickup and drop off. But the real desert experience was good. Enjoyed it very much. Recommend it if you have a chance.

There were not responsible for our tour. First the phone number in your website is for a driver and he only speaks Arabic. Then chatted with Viator and they gave me the same number. After several times somebody answered the phone. Our host in our hotel spoke with him and he said to meet at 7:30 am at some place. But None was there. After several phone calls. A taxi arrived and picked us to go to the place where the van was waiting for us. There were no guide tour in the van. When we arrived to Merzouga drivers took us to meet the staff and camels! Staff were awesome! The show after dinner, too! Tent and facilities were good! Hot water for a shower was ok. Food should be improved!!! We were paying for a luxury camp!

This was a trip I will never ever forget. Definitely the highlight of my month-long travel around Spain and Morocco, and I would a thousand percent go back and recommend! So worth the money and you can count on really being treated like guests in their beautiful country getting all the most authentic experience you can get. I am so glad I went here. By the way, I’m a solo traveller and booked to English group but ended up being in Spanish group which was OK since I was learning the language so no big deal lol wish they gave me a heads up though! 😅

Very Nice trip especially our driver Hussein was amazing! He was so kind to us. The drive to the dessert is quite long but it was totally worth it. Only one small thing the time actually spent on the camels is very short and you only have 1 camel ride and not 2 as written in the description. Afterall ur was a very good and unique experience!

Hassan was a very friendly and warm guide. He made us feel like family. We fed The Barbary macaques, visited the nomadic community shops, road dromedaries and sand boarded. The scenery changes scene from the drive were breathtaking.

We had an excellent experience traveling to the desert and staying in the camp. The driver, Imad 14, was really helpful and nice. It's a long rude but they have many cool stops so it doesn't feel as tiring. And even so, it's all worth it when you get to the desert. The dunes, the camel ride, the camp and the Berber music...very much worth it

WORTHLESS! We gave just 1 star for our amazing guide Mubarak. Too much hours in a Van basically for NOTHING. To the organisers: please stop sending people over there from Fes and Marrakesh, too far away. TOTALLY DISORGANISED.
