First we will meet at the Entrance Hall where we will have a some drinks while you learn about the humble origins of this show that today is considered a luxury item in the fashion world.

Then we will learn about the different traditional materials and we will choose the different colors, sizes and styles.
Duration: 20 minutes

Once ready, we are going to sit down on the Workshop tables and we will make our own traditional espadrilles, and then learn the different ways to lace them up.

To finish our lovely experience we will open a bottle of cava, dance, take pictures with our new shoes and have fun! After all of this, each guest will leave with their own creation and with a really cool story to tell to friends, something that is hardly available to the visitors, not even locals.

My wife and I were in Spain for two weeks and took several tours and activities in multiple cities. This event was the last one of our trip and it was definitely a highlight. The instructors were friendly and engaging, and took a personal interest to ensure each of us were able to create a beautiful pair of espadrilles. This is a family run business - and they are passionate about their shoes and this experience. Really nice bunch of people and so helpful. I was a little worried when I went initially as I was the only one in the class but it was great fun and Pilu was wonderful.

Fun class, not only learning to make the shoes but also the history. It was a chance to be creative and make a custom souvenir. My teenage daughter and I loved it!

A fun and interactive experience! Informative, creative, Cava included. You can choose the kind of shoe, platforms cost are additionally, but flat ones have more colours to chose from. Its a fun way to start a day in the gothic district. Totally worth it.

This was a very fun, interactive, and engaging experience. Annie and Jordie were both fabulous and an absolute joy. They made the class so much fun.
I highly recommend this for anyone looking to learn about history of espadrilles while designing your own!

Mafer was an amazing guide and teacher through this experience. She was attentive, funny, and really added to the history of the espadrilles and how to make them now.
This was a throughly fun experience and you come away with an authentic, personalised, shoe!
