This tour is as advertised. We found our tour guides Matt and Greg to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We happened to hit a beautiful day which added to the enjoyment. Both guides provided a nice balance of historical facts coupled with current information (sports, current events, celebrities, entertainment etc.). We enjoyed their sense of humour as well. Greg pointed out all the key locations and provided commentary as well.

We really enjoyed our island bus driver’s stories and details of island life. In addition to the beauty of the island, we enjoyed a very informative and interesting tour, with details of daily life, the people that live there year-round, and “the season”. We were surprised to not have much time left after the island tour to explore the town of Vineyard Haven while we waited for the ferry. According to our island bus driver, our 3-hour tour takes about 5 hours during the season, which would completely use up all the island time.

My initial perception of Martha’s Vineyard was of a small, quaint tourist destination. It’s actually a fairly large land mass. The island tour is definitely recommended. But the ride to/from the ferry terminal and the ferry ride are wonderful in and of themselves. If you’re “new” to Boston, we definitely recommend the tour. Super informative and excellent customer care/service.

The bus trip to the ferry was good, and the ferry was fine. When we got to Martha’s Vineyard, we were expecting a better vehicle for our tour than an old school bus. That said, our tour guide Anthony was great. Very informative and at times funny. The stops allowed time for shopping and viewing. Overall a good trip!

Amazing experience! Elaine, our bus driver, was very kind and knowledgeable of Boston and Martha’s Vineyard. I also highly recommend adding in the island tour, in which this is the best way to maximize time during the day and tour guide, Tom, is also incredibly well-versed of the island and great leader.
