We had a good day out at Luna Park, entrance and unlimited rides cost $55 per person which we thought was quite expensive for the types of rides in the park. The front entrance was having work done so didn’t look as nice as I thought it would. The rides at the park aren’t really for thrill seekers more family friendly. Overall the park itself needs a bit of TLC there’s a lot of rust ect but everything works fine. Photo Booth wasnt on which was disappointing and food was quick pricey. Once you enter you can’t leave and re enter so forced to eat in the park unless you bring a pack lunch. The staff were really nice and made the experience nicer!

Fantastic and thrilling experience. Highly recommended. Expect to spend a full day. Checkout all the rides. Unlimited rides plus entry pass is fully worth it. #DrSudathKondasinghe DR SUDATH KONDASINGHE

Check what's open before buying tickets. Take a hat and umbrella for shade. Very little places to sit in the shade. Don't waste time riding the Ghost Train. It is so bad (not scary and not even a.minute long).

The park is cute but very, very inefficient. There are long waits for the rides which are exacerbated by the staff being very leisurely in their processing of people, not filling the rides completely before sending them on their way, and not stopping queue jumpers. We were there for 3.5 hours and only managed 5 rides. Biggest complaint is the poor communication about wait times. Do not expect a modern funpark experience, these are heritage rides but that’s fine. However there is absolutely no reason for the slow turnaround on rides, nor for the lack of prevention of queue jumping. We were told a 30 minute wait for the roller coaster, and there are “progress” signs along the queue saying things like “15 minutes from here” but these are annoyingly meaningless. We were not told there was a learner operator and the train was leaving at half capacity, ergo the queue moved twice as slow, plus the queue jumpers making everyone wait longer. We ended up waiting 1 hour 20 minutes, but it is hard to leave the queue because of the setup, , and even harder to tell kids that having waited so long we would have to leave the line. Staff should have communicated both the wait times accurately, and the fact the learner driver was slowing the ride throughput, so we could have made an educated decision not to go on that ride.
