In this fun and interactive class, you will learn how to create the perfect Mojito and Shaken Piña Colada while learning about the history of these cocktails as well as some cool bar tricks and skills.
You’ll start with a welcome cocktail at the Pavilion, visit the Galería and discover our history and the craft of making the world’s most awarded rum. Then, a BACARDÍ guide will lead you through mixing two classic rum cocktails. At the end, you'll have access to purchase Casa BACARDÍ Special Reserve, our exclusive premium rum, not found anywhere else in the world!

Arrive about 30 minutes early so you can enjoy your complimentary welcome cocktail (choice of 3 options). They also have a little cafeteria for quick snacks - the empanadas were yummy. The tour begins with brief tour via trolley around the property. After than you go inside to the mixology class. You'll make two cocktails and also receive one sipping rum of a special Bacardi that is only sold at the Bacardi factory. The class is upbeat and lively. I was a little disappointed in the cocktail choices because one of them was primarily grapefruit juice which is an acquired taste. Also, note that if you take any type of SSRI you should NOT drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit. Please note that the mixology class is standing only so if you have trouble standing for45 minutes this might be tough of you. Overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend it.

Rightly recommended I coming to San Juan. This was the best part of my trip! They greet you with a free drink to choose from at the bar and they were not stingy with the rum. They give you history on the rum and how it came about, very informative. Our instructor Alexandria, goes by curls, was the BEST! She was so fun and definitely hyped the class and made it more fun. The drinks we made were super good and refreshing.

The best time ever!! Danny was our tour guide and I tell you we partied and learned to make some delicious drinks! So worth the time and money. Ask for Danny if you can. (We actually went in 2021 and after so many other distillery tours nothing quite lives up to our Bacardi Factory experience which made me realize I never left a review).
