A day to remember for the rest of our lives! I travelled with my family and we took a day trip to Monaco. Our guide Sabine was excellent. Besides being a pleasant person, she was very professional and a great driver (the roads were narrow and steep) and made us feel safe and comfortable. The duration of the tour (7h) was just perfect. The tour is suitable also for teens, at least ours enjoyed it a lot. However, the tour will not be suitable if you have bad knees and cannot walk up and down a hill or two. This tour is a must when visiting French Riviera.

Great day got to see a bit of everything. Was a little rushed and could skip the perfume factory to have more time in the towns. We only had 1 free day so was perfect for us. Great guide/driver with lots of informative facts. Great to have a driver in a small van with headset so all could hear clearly. Highly recommend this day trip. We really enjoyed it.

1. Probably he’s too new to be a tour guide. The whole experience is just like we have a Uber driver driving us less than the number of hours as per the itinerary. 2. He didn’t speak much in the car and didn’t use the speaker so we barely heard him except in the first row but he didn’t do the introduction anyway so looking outside the car window still ok with a Uber driver! 3. He just dropped us to the spot and asked us to walk here and there and met us at a particular time. He just mentioned very briefly like “just walked and you would find restaurants to eat”… that’s quite an experience for tourists haven’t been in a place and not knowing French. 4. 15 mins at Monte Carlo which we are supposed to have 30 mins. Driving all the way just for a 15 mins? The whole group felt this is ridiculous! 5. Overall I think this tour guide has no passion and need more training to be a professional tour guide who will brief the people who are so eager to explore and experience the places. We are not impressive at all and also have a not very good impression of the places. Last but not least, what is the tourist guide’s name?

Mauman (he explained: “like ‘woman’ but with an ‘M’) was our guide. This tour through the winding roads of the core d’azur was very cool. It gave us a good lay of the land and helped us see how close all these different cities and countries are. Our favorite part was the medieval village of Eze! We loved it so much we looked into booking the hotel there! So quiet and incredibly beautiful. We also learned we are not Monaco/Montecarlo people. It was nice to have seen that curious little county, but it really was not our speed (pardon the F1 pun). It is a long tour, but Mauman made it interesting and included some good tips and historical notes along the way. He also did great to keep everyone on track and on time.
