This tour transports you from Paris to the magical abbey-crowned island of Mont Saint-Michel, one of the most iconic sights in all of France, aboard a private bus. Offering you a hassle-free way to explore the island with plenty of free time ensuring you do not have to adhere to a rigid sightseeing schedule.
As you approach the Mount Saint-Michel, your guide will provide insight on the UNESCO-listed island. Listen to interesting anecdotes about the history of the abbey, whilst admiring the views of the island and the surrounding region of Normandy Mont Saint-Michel began humbly enough in the eighth century, when – citing orders from Archangel Michael himself – a bishop built a church on this small and secluded rock island, which later expanded during the medieval era, attracting an increasingly large number of pilgrims.

You can then choose from some of the many options for lunch, ranging from dining rooms serving rustic meat-focused fare to sophisticated restaurants with bay-view terraces specializing in seafood. Alternatively, you can stop by one of Mont Saint-Michel’s crêperies and feast on galettes (buckwheat pancakes) paired with Normandy cider, for a more casual and characteristically Breton feed.
In the late afternoon, re-board the bus for the return journey to Paris, which will see passengers back in the City of Lights well in advance of bedtime.

No one picked us up! 10 people were at the meet point at 7am and your people did not show up. You ruined a day of our vacation in France, and we expect a full refund.

Daniel was a great guide with lots of knowledge on France and Normandy.
The bus ride is long but totally worth it to discover this hidden gem in Normandy. Good walking shoes is a must there are alot of steps but we came prepared.
I've already recommended this tour to friends soon visiting France. It's a must do!

The best part of the trip was seeing Mont Saint-Michele with our own eyes. There wasn’t much there unless you just want to enjoy Normandy. The Abbey is a climb; I could’ve decided against it. There’s not much to see inside, though the space is quite beautiful.

Sid and Dan were excellent guides. The trip is 4 hours on a bus, but the country side is beautiful. It’s good to see parts of France outside of Paris. Both guides were encouraging and lighthearted as we trekked up the steps to the top of the Abby. Well worth the price.

Wonderful day trip to Mont Saint Michel. Arrival directions provided by city wonders were to the point and didn't face any difficulties in reaching there. Our tour guides Sid and Daniel were amazing. They made the whole journey so much more fun. Provided so much useful info. Very well organized trip. I am definitely going to book more tours with city wonders next time. Once again all credit goes to Sid and Daniel.

My family and I had a wonderful experience going to Mont Saint Michel. We had no expectations, just heard it was a beautiful place to go.
Driving up it blew all of us away. The view alone made the trip worth it. It was such a beautiful day and was 100% worth the trip. Sid and Daniel were also great tour guides who were very knowledgeable and upbeat during our visit.
11/10 highly recommend:)

All of it was fairly overwhelming on one visit
I wish there would have been an alert to the amount of stairs you had to climb. The bus is too small for tall people

Mont St Michel is a must see! It was stunningly beautiful and interesting history. The village was charming and we had a delicious lunch. Our trip with City Wonders went very smoothly thanks to our excellent tour guide, Daniel. I’m looking forward to another trip with them in the future and I’m hoping to get Daniel as our guide again. Thank you!!!
