Although a long day, our driver Wira was amazing through all of it! We had the best sunrise hike followed by a good do in the hot springs and a coffee tasting.

The best trip!! Great experience, super well organized! Guide also did a a great job. This is a must do in Bali! I would not hesitate doing again with same company

My guide was very attentive and let me go at my own pace and holding my hand through the slippery parts. He knew all the best spots for photos!

Our morning started with a 1:30am private pick up from the wonderful Dede who was completely understanding when we fell asleep on our drive up. Once at the sunrise tour we were greeted by Ery our guide for the hike who was super friendly and arranged us a hot drink while we got ready for the hike. She guided us up the volcano swiftly and easily, we watched her every step and followed cautiously so that neither myself or partner had any trips or falls, she offered a steady hand for any uneven ground and managed our pace so that we didn't struggle with the climb. Her information about Mount Batur and surrounding mountains and farms was very interesting and her conversation delightful. She was very funny and kind and her English was perfect and she taught us some balinese! Once at the top we were served another warm drink with a yummy light breakfast and although there was fog because of the rainfall the day before we still managed to catch a glimpse of the sunrise, on the descent we were able to see more clearly and get some great photos of the view. Ery introduced us to some of the other locals who were on the track also and we had a lot of laughs and chats. Following the hike we visited the got Springs to soak our sore muscles and even got a half body massage for very cheap before our final stop at the Cantik coffee plantation, where we got to see a lewak finally and taste the special coffee and tea blends. Highly recommend the cocoa and Bali coffee blend and the mangosteen tea! I wish we got the name of our host at the plantation because she was very funny and helpful. We definitely bought a few powders to take home. Dede once again helped us into his car and drove us right back to our door and even made a side stop so we could grab some lunch on the way back to the villa. He was awesome and pointed out a lot of things on our drive, explained a lot of customs of the villages and even told us all about balinese weddings because we saw so many on our drive. Amazing day and tour, if you can manage to request any of our guides please do because they were all so great!

The view was breathtaking, both our guide and driver Anto went out of the way to make us comfortable. The breakfast provided was good too

My wife and I did the hiking tour the first time in May. Everything was professionaly organized. Our driver Sentana picked up from the hotel (very punctual) and took us to the starting point. He was very knowledgable and we had a great conversation about his home village (Batur) and the Balinese culture. Our guide Gede took us up to the top and showed us great sppts for photos. He took some stunning pictures if us. 10/10 would recommend.

The hike was very strenuous, but if you're up for it I highly recommend. The owner, our driver and guide were all very communicative and helpful. Our guide helped us through the tough parts and communicated how far and the terrain type. She prepared a breakfast for us and took many great pictures for us.

Absolutely worth the hike and early start. Coffee, water, hiking sticks (and even jackets) are provided to you at the start and the coffee really helps you get going lol. It starts off as a trail hike which leads into some very steep climbing up the volcanic rock but don't worry as your guide will stop regularly for breaks if you need them and will even take your hand to lead you up particularly rocky areas so you're in safe hands. Breakfast is provided at the top and the guides can sell you more water and juice if you need it as well as volcanic jewelry which is pretty cool. The view is stunning as the sun comes up and you can see practically the whole island of Bali and neighbouring islands from the peak. Steam vents are also at the top to highlight this is still an active volcano! Our driver Surya was fantastic as well, very patient and understanding and got us where we needed to go and was very reassuring. He took us to the hot springs afterwards as well and was happy and made us feel at home. Overall you cannot afford not to do this if you are in Bali (and if you can, ask for Surya :) )
