You are entertained by live opera performances featuring arias and duets from "The Magic Flute", "Figaro' wedding" and "Don Giovanni" as well as "A Little Night Music". During concert breaks you enjoy dinner in one of Europe’s oldest restaurants - St. Peter Stiftskulinarium - first mentioned in a document in 803. This picturesque setting of the candlelit Baroque Hall is located in the heart of Salzburg's old town. The three-course meal is inspired by historical recipes from the 1700s, so you try dishes that you wouldn’t usually make at home. Musicians of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg, consisting of an exquisite chamber ensemble and two opera-singers, all dressed in authentic Rokoko costumes, inspire with a lively and first-class show.

Interesting close up venue of a combination opera and classical music. Performers were only slightly above average. I base that on the fact that we had attended an opera at the Vienna Opera House earlier in our trip and we saw top tier talent.
Also food was embarrassingly average. Started with a lukewarm clear soup, followed by overcooked banquet style chicken. Dinner was saved by the dessert- a Salzburger Nockerl soufflé.
Would I go again? I don’t think so. But everyone has their own definition of what is good and what isn’t.

Great music and singing. Terrible seats where we looked at the back of the singers and musicians. No one should have this PREMIUM table.

Magical evening! I had no idea that I’d enjoy this as much as I did. From the warm and welcoming maître d, the really lovely dinner to the totally entertaining singers and musicians, we had a delicious time. The venue is over the top with history and the modern decor is colorful and whimsical. I’m so glad that we attended.

This evening was amazing, so much more than we were expecting! The venue was breathtaking - oldest restaurant in Europe, built 803. The opera singers were first class, on par with the performers I've seen at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London. They were enthralling! And the 3-course dinner was lovely too (wine expensive but then all of Salzburg was too), waiters gave a first class service. Lovely evening!

*****Beyond wonderful. Highest rating. We were celebrating our anniversary and will remember this evening for years to come. The singers, string quartet, and ambience excellent. The food was delicious and service great.

I took my parents and we all had a great time! We are not very familiar with classical music or opera but we were still blown away by the performances! Having the performers move throughout the dining room makes the experience very intimate and special. Without the separation of a sound system, you can really appreciate the raw talent of the singers and musicians.
We had the pleasure of seeing Niccola Ziccardi and Donata Meyer-Kranixfeld, both of whom amazed us with their stage presence and musical talent.
The food was delicious and the service was quick and attentive. The performances timed out perfectly with each course of the meal. It was the perfect ending to our day of sightseeing in Salzburg.

The food was good. The performers were fantastic! I enjoyed the evening and the others at my table! My server was excellent and even showed me some of the older rooms of the restaurant that has an interesting history. I highly recommend!

Wonderful dinner and great performances. The facility catered to our need for a vegetarian diet and the singers and musicians were outstanding Bravo!

Absolutely fantastic!!! - This is not the sort of thing I would normally go for but I was blown away!! Brillant singing, great musicians, very entertaining and food was lovely. Everything was perfect and well worth the money, I would highly recommend!!
