Tivua Island is close enough to Nadi to be the perfect destination for an introduction to cruising the islands of Fiji. Set sail to this pristine island, surrounded by 500 acres of spectacular coral reef. Tivua Island is a sanctuary for turtles during the nesting season, and is surrounded by a circle of white sandy beaches.
Upon arrival at Tivua Island, soak up the natural atmosphere where you can swim in the tropical waters, explore the island or simply relax on the pristine sandy beaches. If you're feeling energetic, a selection of water activities such as snorkeling or the use of canoes is included. You will also be able to indulge in a delicious buffet luncheon before the return sail to Nadi.

Start the day with a complimentary Coach pick up from Denarau and Nadi Resorts to Port Denarau. Board your tall ship for the 1.25hour sail to Tivua island

We had a great time! the crew kept us entertained and took great care from start to finish. The food was great, Kava was awesome! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Snorkeling and glass boat experience are memorable! They are an enthusiastic bunch!

Beach is littered with broken shells which can dig into your feet even with your Flip Flops on. Rocks surround the island so swimming is out of the question. They will charge you $99 to sit on the beach with a reserved bed (Which is no different to the others)
The Left of the beach is for those who refuse to pay and you can see that the $99 is for the Sand being raked and weed free but not Shell Free. In summary all they really want to do is take more money from you and sell you so they can make the price on the screen look good.
Alcohol is only included when on the island (they own the island) not on board the boat unless you part with $. Spirits are not included in that range even though it is Alcohol again $ and RIP OFF price. Local bar on mainlaind is much cheaper than they want eveyrthing is about the $ so the original sale price looks good.

Top vibes, never had a chance to feel bored, but still got to feel relaxed. The island is beautiful and the crew are excellent. Get the boys a record deal.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Captain Cook Cruise to Tivua Island, we would like to mention Sienna for being such a great host and also helping with our taxi transfer after the cruise as the taxi was running late. She kept assuring us that contact had been made with the driver to arrive shortly which they did. Also the bbq food provided and drinks were fantastic! The activities offered were amazing, we have already recommended family and friends to also take this wonderful cruise. All the staff on the cruise were fantastic, so welcoming. We loved it all. Thank you.

The boat rather run down. Island just seems rough and badly run. Rather un inviting. Selling run down shelters for the day, should be free. Food bland and the chicken was only thing with taste.
Very disappointed at the underwater debris around the boat moorings. Looked a real mess underwater. Pieces of snagging steel everywhere. Please clean up for the sake of Fiji. Water warm, and is problem to warm, lot of bleached coral
And get left at my accommodation as they changed the bus from the bigger one with logo to another branding. Hotel staff didn’t know

Very nice inclusive trip to a private island. Unlimited fiji gold, nice free cabanas and a respectable lunch with chicken and fish and free snorkel equipment, paddle boards and kayaks. The snorkeling is not the greatest but there was a small coral reef. Boat is a little dated and it is 1-1/2 hour each way. Very good staff.

I have booked many tours and I always get contacted by the tour company. I was never contacted by this one. Everything on the booking indicates that the pickup time was at 10am. Different pick up location all showed up at 10. The pick up time is not 10 and on a small ? Sign it says that you have to contact the tour company for pick up time. I missed the pick up time. I got an email from viator at 9:35am the day of the tour saying the pickup time was at 9:00. The port was only 10mins away and I was able to take a taxi and catch the boat.
The tour was fun and the people were nice. We walked around the island and did some snorkeling. If you book this make sure to contact them to know what time they are going to pick you up.

The experience was great, however I had a disappointing start to the day. The ticket I received says the trip departs at 10am. But the pick-up bus arrived at 8.30am and because I was not aware of the earlier pickup, the bus left without me. I checked my emails at 9am and found an email about the pickup at 7am.
Luckily the place I was staying at was able to arranged a taxi to get to the port on time. However this cost me an extra $30. So beware... the pickup comes earlier that booked

This was the most fantastic day out, I could not fault this experience at all. Beautiful staff and service, delicious lunch including a variety of meats, salads and fruit. You get the entire island to yourself with gorgeous reefs to snorkel and see.

What an amazing day,
Thank you to all the staff for such a great experience. You were entertaining and the bbq lunch supplied was delicious. It was my husband's birthday and they all sang for him while we enjoyed our lunch. Would highly recommend this tour and would definitely do it again. Tivau Island is beautiful
