Really great way to see the city and get your bearings and know where to get on and off to explore.
We had an excellent bus tour guide called Ellen and her driver did an amazing job of navigating the unexpected road works and slow moving crane! We also had a great time talking to May on the walking tour of the French District - super interesting and a very knowledgeable and well travelled lady. We also hopped on with Bill briefly and heard about how he’s often asked various questions by his guests on the tour!

The female bus driver that kept yelling at everyone that she had done 5 trips that day, she was quitting at Stop #10 and was going home. I have never been around someone so angry that hated her job. I was glad to get off that bus.

Alan gave a great garden district tour. Very knowledgeable. The history behind the architecture was tied in well and he made the walk pleasant.

Do this the first day! Gives you great ideas of what to do and see during your stay . App is great with stops and times. Tour guides are fun and knowledgeable. Used the pass multiple times during the day. Each guide gave a different spin.

I highly recommend taking this tour if this is your first time in New Orleans, or you enjoy learning about it’s history. We got on the bus at the stop nearest to our hotel in the garden district, which nears the end of the tour before the bus loops around again. Our first driver was great and our first guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We got a new guide and driver at stop 5 and that portion of the tour felt a bit more rushed, but in fairness we did get on a bit later. We learned so much about the history of the city and its districts, we got some great restaurant recommendations as well.

I paid $51 to be embarrassed by this tour guide yesterday on the Hop-on Hop off tour bus! I was sitting in the lower deck and could not see well through the windows ( as you can see in the picture) so when the bus was at a COMPLETE STOP I walked up to the top deck. This guide announced over the intercom for me not to change seats! It was very embarrassing and not necessary as this is a Hop on Hop off bus which means people are walking on/off at every stop! ...not a very nice way to treat a customer or a good way to represent a company....

As always a great experience with City Sightseeing. Nice route and we never had to wait long for the next bus. Especially loved the live narration - thank you Bill and George!

This was a great way to get acquainted with the city when we arrived. We could hop on and off when we wanted to and find places to return to and spend more time later. I highly recommend it.
