Most travelers can participate
Seating goes according to weight and balance. Weight maximum is 250 pounds per person. Passengers are weighed at our facility and passengers weighing over the weight limit are required to purchase an additional seat or will forfeit their flight.
Helicopter seats 6 passengers and 1 pilot. All tours are shared with other passengers. All 6 seats must be purchased for a private tour. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative time or date.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date.
Passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time with Identification It is strongly advised to arrive prior to check in time to avoid being charged late fee *** ***LATE FEE PRICES*** Passengers failing to arrive 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $50.00 per person late fee. Passengers arriving 30 minutes or less prior to scheduled flight time will be charged $100.00 per person late fee.
New York Helicopter has the right to cancel, change or delay any flight any time for any reason, which includes weather conditions, Temporary Flight Restrictions implemented by the FAA, minimum number of passengers not met for tour, helicopter maintenance and all other circumstances outside of our control.
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee per person (must be paid on site on travel date)
$50.00 heliport/fuel fee for children under the age of 2 (must be paid on site on travel date)
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

Simply put……AMAZING!! As a life long NYC resident, I’ve never done this before and now wish every time we had visitors come to NYC we took them on this experience! .

The staff was hospitable and the pilot was very inviting, friendly and safe. Safety was a priority for everyone. Each person welcomed us with a smile and comfort. We felt secure with our pilot at the controls and he was very knowledgeable about the various landmarks. A great NYC experience!

The customer service was appalling and the receptionist was very rude. The address given on the confirmation email took us to the Hudson River side of Manhattan- I rang the company to explain what had happened and we would be with them asap - we were 5 mins late (we were required to be there 45 mins before our flight time of 2 pm, so arrived at 1.20 pm) we were charged $200 penalty!! Whilst I appreciate the policy is clear, when we tried to explain that the address given took us to the wrong location, she said that wasn’t her fault and that the pilot had been waiting for us, which was clearly a lie as the helicopter was in the air - our flight time was 2 pm and we actually took off at 1.45 pm - I would NOT recommend this company. There are other companies offering flights with our friends booking with another operator and was only required to be there 15 mins beforehand.
So whilst I would recommend the flight - do NOT use this company!

The ride itself was amazing, the views on a clear sunny day were just perfect. However, the gentleman on the ‘door’ to gain access to the heliport was rude, unwelcoming and totally unprofessional. The service was annoyingly running 2hrs behind schedule but instead of him just being honest all he said was “wait here and the manager will come out”, bearing in mind in was very cold out etc. I simply asked for an update and he was very unhelpful and accused myself and others waiting in the queue of being ‘aggressive’ to him simply by asking for an update. He should not be the face of this NY Helicopters. The staff once inside were the opposite but the occasion had already been tarnished by the front of house meet and greet and the 2 hour delay.

What an amazing experience. From the staff inside the terminal to the pilot and then the experience itself. WOW. To see the city from that vantage point, on what was the most clear day of weather all week was absolutely something the four of us will never forget. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
