The guide (bad with names, but I think it was Tom 😬) made the experience! Informative, funny, and engaging. Combined this with admission into the Breakers. Would suggest to anyone visiting Newport.

This is the way to see all the mansions in a limited amount of time and walk through the Breakers. Our driver, Troy, knew all the little details about the gilded era mansions and even the related side stories. His energetic enthusiasm comes through on the speaker. Only downside was an obnoxious, know-it-all passenger who had a loud comment for almost everything. Guess you always get one!

Trolley Rob was very rude when he arrived with the trolley. As soon as the tour started he was fake friendly and jovial with cheesy shtick. . He was silly and too loud. We Might have a totally different opinion if he hadn’t shown his true colors to four of us when he first arrived.
