MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!
MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)
Not wheelchair accessible
Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder
Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

I was very aprehensive about jumping into the ocean at night. The guides discussion about what was going to happen, their willingness to assist and knowing this is the only place on the planet you could have this experience made my "concerns" seem trivial. I'm so glad I did this. Manta were everywhere. These gentle and magnificent creatures were spectacular to see up close. The amount of life in the ocean that could be seen from the lighted float raft blew me away.
This experience should be high on your list of things to do on the BIG ISLAND. I AM SO GLAD I DID NOT "WORRY" MY WAY OUT OF HAVING THIS EXPERIENCE.

This was fantastic. There were so many manta rays and they were amazing. They would get close and personal and are completely harmless. I also rented a GoPro from them but haven’t had a chance to look at the video yet. I’m so glad I did as I got to capture these gentle giants ( hopefully, depending on my skills).

This was by far the best excursion we participated in while visiting the Big Island! Captain Simon and the crew were very personable and attentive from boarding the boat to the whole time while we were in the water. I was giggling and laughing with glee -- these beautiful manta rays were mere inches from our faces and we all got gently bumped more than once by these awesome creatures (but we did not touch them). We saw more than a dozen of them -- 8 to 12-feet wing spans. Amazing! Our 10-year-old son was scared and excited, but the crew made him feel safe. Note: a few people did get a bit seasick. The boat ride is fast over choppy waves in the night, but you get an amazing view of the sparkling coastline. Come prepared if this affects you. Otherwise, this was a memorable lifetime experience we will never forget! Do it, if you get the chance!

The Manta Rays were so majestic. They are huge, which does startle you initially but then as you watch them swim by and scoop the plankton, you realize how graceful they are. It suddenly becomes so relaxing to watch them. I highly recommend this adventure.

The crew was amazing, we were with Bryce, Avery and Elaeo they were super funny and friendly! We had such an awesome experience, we saw many manta rays and when we were done we saw many many dolphins on the boat! The night boat rides to and from the harbor were so nice. It was a clear night and saw many stars with a warm breeze so relaxing.

Amazing experience, my six year was able to get in and snorkel which made it even better. The crew was super accommodating and made sure everyone felt safe. We can't wait to come back and do this again.
