MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!
MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)

What an incredible experience! We were able to see multiple manta rays and they kept flipping right up next to us. The crew made sure we felt safe and were very knowledgeable about rays. They had a great sense of humor and made the ride so fun and entertaining! This is one of the most amazing things I've experienced in my life and I would highly recommend it!

We had a large crew—10 of us!—scheduled for this once-in-a-lifetime experience and we couldn’t have picked a better team to go with than Hang Loose! They were so attentive to everyone’s needs. They explained what would be happening once we got there, they ensured everyone felt safe in the water. And for those who freaked out (which we had one in our group) they very calmly and without judgment helped get them back on the boat to watch. For those who just want to watch, you still get to see a lot! We had so many mantas come up by us, it was really an absolutely incredible experience. Spiritual, really. We even had my 4 yr old granddaughter along to watch on the boat and she loved it! Highly, highly recommend these guys. The warm shower afterwards was very welcome (you get a wetsuit jacket, snorkel/mask, and pool noodle for your feet so they don’t dangle). There was also chips and drinks. It was the highlight of our Hawaii trip!

What a surreal experience, we were not even at the platforms yet when we saw the first one. I was skeptical of what to expect and if we would see any mantas as it rained when we left the harbor. While boarding the boat you are provided with snorkel and mask as well as a wetsuit top. The boat ride was about 20 minutes and it took a few minutes till the platform was set up. We were divided in three groups based on snorkel and swimming experience, then you can jump in. After the short swim to the platform you will get a pool noodle under your legs to keep you floating, now you can enjoy the manta rays dance. Even though they swim by so close, you will hold your breath, there is no need to be scared, these are very gentle creatures.
I would go again right away.

We really enjoy seeing the Manta Rays it was an experience of a lifetime. They sometimes would swim within inches of me. Our guides were excellent and provided a safe experience. My wife is very un sure of herself in the water but she was able to participate and loved the experience.

My son and I had a great time on the manta ray snorkeling trip. It was incredible to see the mantas. The whole experience was great, and I highly recommend it. Don’t forget to bring a towel.

This is one of the most unforgettable experiences, it was truly surreal. The opportunity to swim with the mantas up close is just such a privilege. A must do activity on the island.
The tour started on time, and the tour guide was very helpful. Jacob was our caption and he made us feel at ease. Safety instructions were provided. Prescription snorkels were available but we got lucky and they had some close to ours, but could have easily not had them since it seemed that they didn’t have a lot of them. Wet suits were not dry when they handed them out so made us a little cold. The tour had about 40 people, and it took us an hour to get there and we spent about 20-30 minutes with the mantas, but I could be wrong about that. It was an hour back to the same site where we began. We got plenty of time with the rays. Jacob also provided information about manta rays during the boat ride which was fun.
The tour booking listing did mention snacks and water but we were only offered water.
We highly recommend this tour.
