Stop At: Diamond Head State Monument, 18th Ave. Waikiki, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96815

Our first point of interest takes us to beautiful Diamond Head Lookout, where you will be able to catch the end of the sunrise. The surf is almost always up at Diamond Head beach, so you can watch the surfers and see other Hawaiian Islands on a clear Day.

*Please understand that this stop is not the Diamond Head State Monument that is inside of the crater. Another name for this location is the Amelia Earhart Lookout.

Duration: 15 minutes

Pass By: Kahala, Kahala, Oahu, Hawaii

After the Diamond Head Lookout, our second point of interest is the Gold Coast in Kahala. This area is like the Beverly Hills of Hawaii. You will see unbelievably large and luxurious properties and expansive estates that are owned by movie stars, celebrities, dignitaries, entrepreneurs, and of course doctors and lawyers. Definitely an interesting sight to take in.

Pass By: Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, 100 Hanauma Bay Rd, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96825-2005

Hanauma Bay is a beautiful marine embayment on the eastern shore of the Hawaiian island of Oahu. It was formed within a volcanic cone and is a protected marine life conservation area that attracts over one million visitors every year. The bay is home to a diverse range of marine life, including over 400 species of fish, sea turtles, and reef sharks. The beach and bay are surrounded by lush green hills, which provide a stunning backdrop to the crystal-clear waters.

Hanauma Bay has a significant historical and cultural significance for the Hawaiian people. The bay was once a site for traditional Hawaiian fishing practices, and the surrounding land was used for farming by ancient Hawaiians.

Please note that due to parking limitations, we are not able to stop at Hanauma Bay. This is a drive by attraction, and the tour guide will provide information.

Stop At: Eternity Beach, Kalaniana'ole Highway, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96825

Situated Near the blowhole in an incredibly beautiful corner of Oahu is a secret beach made famous in the movie "From Here to Eternity." This little cove is extraordinary, and one of our hidden gems. If you have some extra time while here on vacation, we recommend that you come back to spend the day... It's just about the most relaxing place on the planet!

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Halona Blowhole, Kalanian'ole Highway, Oahu, HI 96825

After we pass through Kahala, one of the most interesting points along our journey around Oahu is the powerful Halona Blowhole. Come and marvel at this geologic wonder as it shoots water into the heavens. As the waves crash into the rocks, the water moves underneath the rocks from underwater caves. Then the pressure builds up and it shoots the water as high as you can see. One of Oahu's geologic wonders!

Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By: Makapu'u Point, Kalaniana'ole Hwy turnout above Makapu'u Beach, Oahu, HI 96795

After we are pau with Sandy Beach, we will continue our journey and round the Eastern Corner of the Island of Oahu. As we do, you will get a glimpse at one of the most awe-inspiring views that you will ever see. The vista from the Makapu'u Point lookout is truly something to behold... The Bluest of Blues, the Greenest of Greens, ancient jagged lava rock surrounding yellow sand, and the Makapu'u lighthouse sitting stoic in the background. Someone pinch me...

Pass By: Makapuu Lighthouse, Waimanalo, Honolulu, Oahu, HI 96795

Makapu'u is a stunning coastal area located on the eastern side of Oahu, Hawaii. It is known for its iconic lighthouse, scenic hiking trails, and breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Visitors can explore the Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail, which offers a moderate hike and panoramic views of the coastline. The area is also home to Makapu'u Beach, a popular destination for swimming and bodyboarding.

Historically, Makapu'u played an important role in the defense of Oahu. The lighthouse was built in 1909 to guide ships through the treacherous waters off the coast, and during World War II, the area was used as a lookout and gun emplacement site. Today, the lighthouse and surrounding area are part of the Ka Iwi State Scenic Shoreline, which showcases the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the Hawaiian Islands.

Overall, Makapu'u is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring Oahu.

Had a great time! Beautiful sights and great way to explore the island as a solo traveler without a car. Had an incredible tour guide (Kehua) who provided tons of info about locations, culture and legendary tales, anything really and was prob the best part of the tour truthfully! Several stops (dole plantation, macadamia nut and coffee farms) were more about buying than actually seeing/learning anything, which was a little bummer but somewhat expected given the other reviews, but again that’s where Kehuas info came in handy! Either way, had a fun time and would recommend!

I booked the Oahu Island tours- North shore snorkeling Dole plantation and byodo Temple theough Viator. Our tour guide Jake was super nice, professional and narrated a good history of Hawaii and Oahu. You can tell he has a geniuine passion for his job. The Tour bus arrived ontime at the Twin Fin at 7:10am and we received our confirmation text before. The tour lasted from 7:10 through 5:00pm. They provided chips, punch and in between locations at least 4 bathroom breaks. We didnt get to see the Byodo temple because of holiday and time constraints but Jake gave extra time to snorkle at Turtle Bay of 1 1/2 hours . He provided snorkle gear in sanitized buckets and made sure and provided information about protecting the reed and turtles and proper sun screen use. He have good directions and accompanied everyone about 60 people to the shore and stayed to make sure we were ok and accounted for. Each time we went to a new location it was never rushed and jake took a head count before and after to make sure no one was left behind. He called ahead our lunch orders and collected the money upfront to save time as well. We were able to leave all our belongings on the bus while shopping snorkeling eating this included cameras back packs and wallets and every thing was there all money and watches untouched so they are trustworthy. We tipped $40 which is well worth the tour id highly recommend them

Dylan our guide was very nice, funny and full of life, but the tour was not. The potholes in the road were a definite mood killer. The bus shocks made you feel every bit of it. Toward the back half of our tour the air conditioner compressor went out in a big cloud of smoke. The tour was called the Dole Plantation tour when it should have been called the food tour. They had snacks on the bus which consisted of chips, water and juices and stopped even more frequently for more snacks. What I thought I booked was the tour of the Dole plantation and the island, which we didn’t even get the allotment of time to see the plantation. The train ride was too long in the amount of time we did have, so we did not get to see the farm. The coffee farm was a coffee shop at a farm, which was this the same for the macadamia nut farm. In the description when it said farm, I thought it would be a farm and get to see how they grow coffee, pineapple, etc. The snorkeling was mediocre at best following recent increased rainfall making the water murky. The bright side of the snorkeling was that we did in fact see some turtles. It wasn’t till the very end of the tour that we realized that a large group had brought alcohol and were drunk by the end. Overall the views were exceptional and we got to see so much of island. For the price it wasn’t bad but left much to be desired.

The overall experience was just OK. Issues we had was that although it said first stop was Diamond Head Monument… which is located in the crater… they stopped on a cliff side of Diamond Head. The second was snorkeling with the turtles… the driver gave us scuba mask… no instructions and didn’t accompany us. When we went to the turtle bay… the other people there had a life guard and someone to guide them. Finally, the macadamia and coffee plantations were second rate. Reason I know this is because I’ve been on another guide and it was much better.
