ALL Participants will need an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention from a government authorized association to drive in Japan. • EXCEPT participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco will need to obtain a Japanese translation of their license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
Drivers' licenses issued by countries not covered by the 1949 Geneva Convention (such as China, Indonesia, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, etc.) are not permitted to drive in Japan
Participants must carry their physical International Driving Permit (or for exceptional countries listed above that requires a Japanese translation, the physical domestic license + official translation) and physical passport
Minimum age is 18 years old.
Wear flat closed footwear, Do not wear no long flowy skirts or dress.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

This has been a great experience riding on the expressway of Tokyo. Definitely a different experience. Especially with our sweet guide Clara.

Very exciting to drive a go-kart on the streets of Tokyo, I highly recommend it, grab a costume and give it a go Johnny was fantastic in navigating us around the streets of Tokyo.

This activity was the highlight of our entire trip. I waited four years for this. The first time my family visited Tokyo, it was pre-pandemic, and she wasn't legally allowed to drive yet. Now that time has come.
All I can say is, WOW! You'll have a blast zipping around Tokyo in the go-kart. Brad, our guide, was a blast. He was very patient with a couple of the drivers who were extremely nervous, one of whom was my wife. The karts can push about 45ish mph so it's not slow.
Book this event, you will not regret it.

So much fun! Zooming around Tokyo in a go kart and feeling like you’re in Mario kart. Guide Lucas did a great job keeping us in order!

Lucas did a really good job making sure all karts remained safe and together. Make sure you bring both your passport and international driver’s license and arrive at least 30 minutes before your time.
