Stop At: Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Place du Carrousel, 75001 Paris France

Your family tour starts outside the Louvre, where you'll meet your private guide and learn something about the history and the architecture of this huge building.

Duration: 5 minutes

Stop At: Louvre Museum, 99 Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris France

You'll enter the museum with prebooked tickets.

The Louvre truly has something for everyone in the family, and your guide keeps the kids enthralled with interesting facts about the history of the museum and its works of art, for instance, the fact that the Louvre was built in the 12th century and was originally a fortress and palace.

With your guide leading the way, see the works of major artists like Géricault, Canova, Delacroix, Bernini, Michelangelo, Ingres, and Ghirlandaio. Perhaps you'll also see the Crown Jewels or the Napoleon III Apartments, depending on your interests and availability of masterpieces. Of course, you probably won't want to miss Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, as well as other famed masterpieces such as the Winged Victory of Samothrace and Venus de Milo.

You can decide if you want to go for a 2 hour or a 3 hour tour, depending on the needs of your kids, and what you see can be tailored to your preferences and the ages of your children.

My 6 year old son and I were in Paris for a few days and while I wanted to take him to the Louvre, I was overwhelmed with how to approach that and make it interesting for both of us. This tour was perfect and Emmanuelle was the best tour guide. She kept him engaged with activities, knew exactly all the spots in the museum he would find interesting, and it was all super interesting for me to. We went on a Monday right when they opened which was perfect timing with him because it was less crowded. We went straight to Mona Lisa and there were very few crowds (definitely the way to do it with a young kid, as if you had to wait a long time with throngs of people, I think it’d lose some appeal with him). There was also a studio that our tour guide showed us with kids activities, currently themed for the Olympics. My son cannot stop talking about the Louvre and I would’ve never expected it would’ve been the highlight of his trip. Merci Emmanuelle!

Laurita was a wonderful guide. Our 11 year old granddaughter was being introduced to her first museum (non-children variety), and Laurita’s combination of activities and helpful information kept an easily distracted girl stay focused (almost always:)). Merci bien Laurita!

My shy children (10 yo and 8 yo) were slow to engage in “another” tour. Our guide, Rosana, gently coaxed them out of their shells, and they were loving the tour by the end! She was so knowledgeable and made learning the history fun…for all of us! Such a wonderful experience that left us all smiling and talking about all we’d seen for days. One of the best things we did in Paris.

We had a blast on this tour! My kids can be quite shy, but Rosana, our guide, was fantastic. She was patient, super knowledgeable, and fun. She got my kids engaged through her gentle persistence. We all learned so much…and were still smiling at the end!!!

Our guide, Anna, was great with my daughter. She explained some very interesting things about the museum's history along with showcasing certain art. Anna adapted the visit to be age-appropriate for my child. It was educational for me as well. She also kept my daughter entertained with interactive events during the tour. Highly recommend her.

Alberto is very knowledgeable and caring! He did a great job of keeping us all (including our 2 teenagers and 2 grandparents) engaged by asking questions and learning about everyone's interests. He welcomed questions and provided great details!

Anna is amazing! My wife and I brought our 10 and 13 year old boys for their first Louvre experience, and Anna did an amazing job of keeping them engaged with intriguing information. The tour was well paced and filled with interesting facts for the whole family.

Being a lover of art history, I wanted to curate an experience that would be help to cultivate a similar love of art for my 6 year old. Our guide, Pauline did just this. She kept my kiddo engaged and excited from beginning to end and presented the art work and history in a manner that piqued my kiddo's curiosity. I highly recommend Pauline for this experience. I'm so thankful that I can now share this common interest with my child as a means of connection. Thank you, Pauline!

Worth the money ! Almost no waiting time at all ! we went inside the museum right the way. We went with 2 kids 9 and 12 years old. We were tired after 5 days in Paris and so lucky we booked this private tour. Our guide Tatiana was wonderful and she was so patient and attentive to everyone in the family. She is knowledgeable and experienced. Kids had an enjoyable time and really learned something new. Highly recommend.

How great our tour guide was with our somewhat difficult kids. Agathe was really patient with our kids and made not only the art but the building and the history relatable and fun to our 3 and 6 year old. Also not having to wait inline but getting to use the side entrance was awesome!
