Amazing visit to the incomparable Louvre! Entry was easy through the carousel entrance as explained - I was there about 20 minutes before 9am. The downloadable audio guide was informative and interesting and I followed the route it suggested with the exception of going straight to the Mona Lisa first and then starting again at the begininning - well worth it as got to see her in no time at all and with minimal crowds.

I’m glad we bought the times entrance tickets, but our tickets were also advertised as “skip the line.” That is NOT TRUE! There is no skipping the line with this “skip the line” ticket purchase!
We also paid extra for the “audio guide” which DOES NOT include the Museums Audio Guide to all their paintings as I thought because it was advertised to make you believe this! The audio guide is a download of 22 audio recordings that generically describe the Louvre! 22! There are over 5000 paintings and not one Viator download describes a specific painting! AND they did not send me the link until I was already in the Louvre and sent them a WhatsApp message. I could have purchased the museum’s audio guide for 6€ and heard about every painting! DO NOT buy the audio ticket! It is a rip off and useless. I will never use Viator again. EVER! The only positive experiment was the ease of booking and taking to a rep via WhatsApp. They were quick to respond but had no decision making power over the local group tour .

I paid for the entry ticket with Audio guide, but only received the tickets without audi guide. I need to request for refund of the audio guide charge.

While Viator provided entry tickets to the Louve when the museum was sold out, the audio experience was pretty useless. The pieces with audio where difficult to locate.

We were in Paris for one day and didn’t realize you had to buy tickets for the louvre weeks in advance. Buying through this service on trip advisor gave us the opportunity to go when we had none. HOWEVER, we purchased 2 tickets at 44$ apiece and when I went in to scan at the museum the worker said my ticket was modified. We were sent to assistance and another worker said my husbands ticket was good, but mine was a copy that someone else has purchased and just edited my name on top. Luckily my husband was able to purchase me another ticket at the help desk due to our incident. I wrote to the operator of this tour, and told them SUPER nicely that we had a bad ticket and I wanted a PARTIAL refund and I got some crap response saying I bought one ticket with two names???? It was only when I got mad and threatened to call trip advisor and said had photographic evidence of not only the conversation but both tickets from them and the receipt that I had to purchase another at the museum that they immediately gave me my money back. I’m trying to look on the bright side and be thankful that we both got in same day but I was also mad that I was so a scam ticket and was told it was MY fault.

The louvre is great but should have waited to but my tickets there as I was clearly charged twice the price. At the Louvre only 22 euro per tickets. I was charged 92. Know better next time. And also kids under 18 are free

Amazing museum and quick responses from the help team to change the date of my ticket last minute! A must see for Paris! The architecture of the building is just as fascinating as the art!!

I booked this tour because tickets to the Louvre were sold out the day I was there with my family. It did serve its purpose of getting us into the museum, however, I was charged for a ticket for my 13 year old daughter and never received one. I later learned that this was because kids enter the museum free. So why did Viator charge for this ticket? Additionally, the tour was advertised as coming with a free audio guide but when I asked at the museum they said that this would be extra. If you're in a pinch and need entry to the Louvre, this will be an ok solution, but I wouldn't recommend it otherwise as there is no point if you can purchase your own tickets from the museum directly. It will be cheaper and offer the same experience. The museum also offers audio guide headsets for 6 euro.
