Would have like to have had more time on the Missouri and less time at the memorial.. Driver was knowledgable of island history and shared information of Pearl Harbor.

Be aware the tour is self guided but well worth the time and effort to see and read about the articles in the exhibits. The park rangers are not the friendliest of people but this tour is definitely worth the time. It is very sobering and memorable but not in a depressive way. The companion tour to the Battleship Missouri was EXTREMELY well done and is lead by professionally trained guides. Our guide (105#, gray haired lady from Ada, Okla) knew her stuff and made it fun and interesting. She was interested in what she was explaining and it showed immensely. I wanted to see the sub and flight museums as well but it would take two days to do the complete park justice and we had only one day sit aside for the park. When we go back we will devote two days and do it justice. Yes we will go to the Pearl Harbor and the Missouri exhibits again....they are that good and deserve a revisit......then we will include the sub and flight museums and will probably wish we had spent two days there as well. My wife and I are not history or war buffs but this park kinda makes us wish we were.

While staying 4 nights in Honolulu before our cruise, the visit to Pearl Harbor was definitely on our visit list. We wanted a tour that included both The Arizona Memorial and The Missouri Battleship. This tour was wonderful and it gave us enough time to enjoy both. Our driver and tour guide Brian was wonderful and very informative. I recommend this tour!

Cousin David treated our group as family/ohana. I appreciated all the history David shared with us about Pearl Harbor, the battleships, Hawaii, and random facts that I can share with family and friends!

Guide instructions could have been clearer jumped around time of where to and when. Of the six hour tour only 4 spent inside Pearl Harbor not enough time to do Pearl Harbor justice.

I’m disappointed that our government won’t support our history. The condition of these monuments is unacceptable. The Arizona monument in particular was dirty and had several areas of rust, and the plaques are barely readable. Such a travesty!

To visit the Pearl Harbor memorial is the reason we visited Oahu island. We were very happy to have had the opportunity to do this. However doing it with this tour is definitely not necessary. We wanted to visit on a particular day and so we knew we were overpaying for the convenience. But the flip side is that we were hindered by the time frame of the excursion and definitely could have used more time. It was not that busy but it still takes time to see everything and also the shuttle service within the memorial was very slow and understaffed - so that took up a lot of time. What you are getting for this excursion is transportation to the memorial, and a confirmed ticket time to see the Arizona memorial. However because the ticket time was so late in the day the guide (really just a driver) said to sign up at the "stand by" kiosk, which everyone did, and we all got in earlier. If you're willing to take the time, you can arrange your own transportation and get a free ticket time at the memorial website, and/or use the "stand by" kiosk.
