This was a wonderful cooking class experience. My wife and I have done cooking classes in a number of countries, and this one was probably one of our most favorite. What made this experience so pleasant was the people. The Kaku Tours crew was so much fun. Our walk-through the bazaar was refreshing and entertaining. The team that helped us prepare our food was a pleasure to be around. It was a great way to end our Peruvian trip. We highly recommend Haku Tours.

This was a delightful activity. First visiting a local market and being introduced to indigenous fruits and vegetables (so many different types of potatoes!) with a chance to sample. Our small group chose our own menu and chef then went to procure the ingredients. Natalie our guide was excellent and so proud to share her knowledge and experience with us. The cooking class was hands on and at a relaxed pace and we leisurely ate our food with assistants constantly working on the background to do cleanup. I would highly recommend this excellent introduction to Peruvian gastronomy.

Oh my goodness, where to begin? First of all the tour of the market was amazing and we saw some incredible fruits and vegetables and the freshest of fish and chicken. Everyone in Peru has been amazingly kind and gentle and hospitable. When we arrived back at the kitchen, we were so impressed with the table setting. The whole experience was terrific and we learned a ton about cooking and also presentation. Everything about it was professional and beautifully timed. My husband is a passionate cook, and he was surprised at how much he learned. In summary, we were overwhelmed by how wonderful the whole experience was. We continue to be impressed by the Peruvian people, and how gracious and gentle they all are. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any of the tours conducted by Haku.

From market marvels to hands-on cooking, every moment is a flavorful journey. Punctual pickups and clear WhatsApp communication set the tone. The market tour showcases Peru's culinary treasures, while the cooking class unveils secrets of iconic dishes like lomo saltado and ceviche. Dive into exotic fruit tasting and discover tiger milk's magic. Don't miss the herb-infused potatoes—they're a revelation! This adventure is a feast for the senses, leaving you hungry for more Peruvian delights. If you have few days in Lima, I'd recommend you do this on day 1 so that you know what to look for when you visit restaurants.
