Great tour! All the reviews speak highly of Vincenzo, and I couldn't agree more! Very detailed, amazing descriptions/history lesson and nicely paced. He also kept us in the shade as much as possible, which I appreciated. Very passionate guide. 10/10 would recommend!

Really enjoyed this tour, our guide provided some great information and context to the eruption, the events leading up to and afterwards. Was interesting seeing both sights and the differences in damage and what was preserved. Recommend doing this tour.

Guide was a nice lady but it did not seem she was an archeologist as described on the ticket.
Too expensive. A regular solo audio tour would have been ok.

This is a great tour! Antonio, our guide, imparted tons of great information and insights about the two cities and the great Mt. Vesuvius eruption which buried them in 79AD. He let us know what we were going to do next, kept the group together and mixed in some great humor, too. We took the transport option from Naples which was well organized and worth the extra cost. High recommended!
