Our group of four loved this experience! We had two adults, a fifteen year old and an eight year old. The activities broke up the day perfectly and they have plenty of bike options for riders, including small bikes and trailers. our guide MoMo made the day excellent. He shared fun stories and just the right amount of information at every stop. He also read the room well and knew when to move us through sections faster and slower. It was a full 6 hr day and unfortunately the tour ends with you going on your own to the hall of mirrors in the main palace. Our group was toast so we saw everything but the grand finale! Overall would highly recommend.

Not being given correct meeting point nor name of third party company doing tour so we could lookout for them. Therefore missed two hours of a six hour tour.

Our guide Momo was wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding French history and pointed things out to us that on our own we would have missed. I would recommend this excursion, my daughters and I loved it.

Highly recommend the Golf Cart and Guided Bike tour. Versailles is so big, it would be difficulty to cover as much ground as we did without the tour. As far as I can tell, this is the only tour with a reserved golf cart to tour the grounds with. It was nice to start our tour with a 1 to 1 and a half hour guided golf tour of the grounds, followed by a bike ride in the areas not accessible by golf cart. We also stopped at other areas of Versailles along the way and our tour guide gave us a wealth of information about the homes and artwork and fountains of Versailles. We also had a great picnic lunch around 1pm from the famous Angeliana's which included an amazing baguette ham and cheese sandwich, drink of our choice including wine (!), chips and dessert. Our tour guide Momo was amazing! He spoke 5 different languages and lived in Los Angeles for a number of years. He was friendly, professional and made sure everyone in the great had fun and was safe. He also took our pictures without asking and told many stories along the way while keeping the tour at a good pace. We covered so much of Versailles outside which was great and away from the crowds. I liked how the tour was organized. It was a 6 hour tour that actually went 6.5 hours and you start outside on the golf carts, then biking, then picnic lunch, then a little more biking and then finish to tour the Versailles castle at your own pace for the last few hours. I think the castle was less busy as this was in the afternoon which was nice as the crowds in the AM to the castle looked very busy. Also, having the history lesson and tour of the outside gave us some insight into the paintings and architecture of the castle itself. The tour maximum is 18 people but our group only had 5 which felt like a private tour! If you add up the cost of renting a golf cart, bike, lunch at Angelina's and Versailles Entry ticket, I estimated it would be around $90-100. Tour was $150 per adult and I think the extra $50-60 was worth it for a guided tour of the grounds, skip the line entry into Versailles and the company and story telling of Momo! Also, company is very responsive and answered all questions promptly. We took the RER C from Paris and it was easy and much cheaper than getting Uber or Taxi. This was one of the best tours we took in Paris and highly recommend to anyone of any age group!

We had a wonderful day touring Versailles with Momo from Kingtours. We did the golf carts and bike ride tour. Momo was a very energetic tour guide. He spoke excellent English and switched between English and French for some other guests on the tour who spoke French. It was very impressive. He seemed genuinely interested in getting to know everyone and took time out to check in with each guest along the way. The golf cart part of the tour was fun and a great way to see the expansive gardens. Then we switched to the bikes to see the large grand canal and the smaller palaces. We ate lunch outside - it was a delicious ham and cheese sandwich on a baguette with chips, drink of our choice (I chose red wine and received a small individual bottle, which was great for a picnic), and a small cake for dessert. I was unable to eat the dessert because I am allergic to nuts and there were nuts in it. Momo took time out to get some nice pictures for each group on the tour, so we have some nice shots to help remember the day. We would highly recommend Kingtours if you are visiting Versailles and want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the gardens and wide open spaces of the grounds. We spent less than an hour walking through the palace after the tour ended. The time spent on the tour was definitely the highlight of our trip to Versailles.

We enjoyed it, given the historical setting, but feel it wasn't good value for money. Too much waiting around and then having to rush visiting inside areas. Really, the guide is most essential for the non-guided areas (which the advert only clearly indicated the palace is independent of the guide). The outside parts are relatively self explanatory with the map. Also, we didn't skip the line to the Palace since tickets still require you to line up, although the wait wasn't too much. For around £850 for 4 adults and 2 children it should be a fully guided tour, sticking to schedule, irrespective of others in the group turning up late, and slowing everything down through-out the day. Time management by the guide is really important when there is so much to cover.

This tour was perfect to explore Versailles and its weekend fountains. Our guide Nima was excellent and showed great care for everyone. The mix of carts, bikes, lunch and chateau interior was good for our teenager. One tip I would offer is plan 2 hours for comfortable train RER C train joirney from Gare D’Austerlitz ($10 US RT) to meet tour. King Tours communication was much appreciated.

This tour is a great way to see, experience, and learn about Versailles. It is 6 hours long which is appropriate for prime season. It is much too long for the off season when the fountains are drained and all the marble statues in the gardens are covered until April 1st. Additionally our tour was impacted by a labor strike that day causing the palace to close the Petit Trianon and English Gardens to tourists. This made for a long day awaiting our ticketed entry time to tour the inside of the palace.
